Watching the Marvel Cinematic Universe from the beginning...

It's an odd trend in superhero fiction that probably started with the '70s episodes of Wonder Woman: Hollywood not wanting "dull" characters and so we get Diana Prince as a hot babe, recent Clark Kents as Alpha Chads and Peter Parkers being just as quippy and witty as Spider-Man. Glum Peter Parker wouldn't be my first choice, but I appreciate what appears to be a clear distinction between personas.
