The lack of chemistry between the characters doesn&#039;t really help.The most impressive stuff happens in the first half of the movie and the final battle is surprisingly un-spectacular.There are some impressive sceneries (probably all CGI, but still) but there are too many of them and at some point I didn&#039;t even know where the action took place.Also, way too many dark scenes.The actress who plays the princess is well cast, I think.Speaking of the princess, I thought her deal with Some Evil Power was unnecessarily convoluted. She was introduced as a ruthless and cunning character, so why not just kill her baby half-brother and her father? Or arrange an accident and then blame someone else. And then she&#039;d be queen of Egpyte, problem solved, everybody happy.What exactly did the evil super-power do for her? It only got her mummified and buried in a pit of mercury. It&#039;s a shaky premise, to say the least.The movie isn&#039;t total rubbish but it kinda buries itself in too much of everythings instead working towards an impressive climax.I&#039;m going back to youtube, where all the good stuff is.</blockquote>
