A double-bill of films last night: The Little Girl Who Lives Down The Lane (1976) I had no idea what this was to be about, which is good. On paper, the themes are disturbing and extremely uncomfortable. In execution it's charming and fascinating with its "intended for stage" origins strongly coming across in the best possible way. Dentist In The Chair (1960) Basically a dental take on the classic British Doctor... films of the time. Or Carry On Drilling. Prime's outline of the film is followed by the sentence "Mild amusement ensues", which made me smile and warned me to keep expectations low. Actually it's a pleasant enough way to while away an hour and a quarter.
