I remember the news story well but this film really brings the horrors and jeopardy of the rescue to life. Twelve boys and their coach were trapped in an underwater cave prompting an international effort to rescue them. I'm quite claustrophobic and the scenes of the rescue divers moving through the narrow underwater tunnels were very uncomfortable for me to watch so full credit to Ron Howard (director) for conveying this aspect of the rescue to convincingly. Even though I knew how this story ended it was still edge to the seat stuff. I got goosebumps when they found the boys and had tears of joy when they were rescued. A truly brilliant film. [/QUOTE]
