Return to Eden was the hardest for me. The maxi series a huge hit (it’s been repeated something like 11 times in France!). The cliffhanger was amazing!! The mini series was one of the highest rated tv shows ever screened in Australia and NZ, it bet who shot JR. The end of the ‘86 series screamed ‘what happens next??!!’ and insinuated there was going to be another series. I can’t even imagine what they would’ve done next because it was they did so much and made such an incredible show so maybe it was best they made no more As it was such an expensive show to make and lower ratings in Australia for the soap, they didn’t deem it financially viable even though the rest of the world wanted more Such a shame. It was my all time favourite show I really enjoyed Sins and Daughters, Downton, Desperate Housewives (but why kill off Mike indeed?!) and Brothers and Sisters. I miss these shows but I take solace they all knew they were ending and had proper nice finishes, respectful for fans The last season of Dynasty was the best in at about four years. Stephanie was a great addition. A great shame they moved it to a death time slot. That had another one of those unresolved cliffhangers that left me sad and wanting more Dallas though, had way past it’s used by date. This one didn’t know when to call it quits and reduced a once magnificent show into dribble. Oh dear. Dreadful last season/last episode.
