In addition to Ava and Donna I would've also cast Joel Grey; as a quirky character in the Freilich era. He could have played Barry Berry (a magician), an acquaintance of Foster Glenn. Would the Berger man a la DYNASTY have worked as a 5th season FALCON CRESTER? Ava Gardner as Penelope Fountaine. Donna Reed as Lucia Ranson. (However I was pro Donna as recast Ellie, in DALLAS). Joel Grey as Barry Berry. Ava Gardner on the subject of mortality: "I wish to live to 150 years old but the day I die, I wish it to be with a cigarette in one hand and a glass of whiskey in the other."
