Unless she's gotten a wrong diagnosis (unlikely since she's probably gotten a second, third and fourth opinion at this point), this is it. It's terminal, as depressing as it sounds, but stage four means it's metastasized and it cannot be cured, but treated and prolong life for a little while. I hope Shannen hangs in there, but this sucks to say the least.

I'm also really sad to hear that her cancer has come back. What a brave woman Shannen is and I'm amazed by how she managed to come back for the new BH90210 reunion show and work despite battling this horrible disease in private. I hope she will be with us for several more years and that she will be able to celebrate her 50th birthday!

The fear and helplessness you feel when someone you know is diagnosed is indescribable. How people find the strength and will to fight the illness is unfathomable, but somehow they do.

Actually, it is estimated that in the not too distant future one in two people will have developed some sort of cancer, so I am sure many of us on this board will experience it.

I remember a story that someone on the set of 90210 told a long time ago about Doherty. It was at the height of her popularity and there happen to be some fans visiting the set. The person said that there was this young girl in a wheelchair that had cancer and as Doherty walked by her she asked for her autograph. Allegedly Doherty looked down at her like she was a POS, laughed, and just walked away.
If that story is even remotely true, b-tch be getting her karma!!!!!

Somehow that sounds very made up and probably posted in Star Magazine or any other tabloid that loves to come up with lies.
I don't think Shannen is satan. I think she's more of a Katherine Heigl type (short fuse combined with being strongly opinionated = "difficult to work with", as actors are supposed to shut up about storyline opinions, screentime, salaries, diversity, equality etc etc).

Most of her 90210 co-stars didn't like her. But that should be somewhat less than relevant since she's dying -- after all, it's not like she's a Pollock or something.

Dislike is afterall quite a long bit from hate. I don't think for a second that anyone is celebrating her cancer, like TJames seems to suggest.
