Oh no, I'm sorry to hear this, it sounds like your hands have taken a battering through the years. Does the hand-support help? I hope it does.
Yes, the support helps a lot actually. I was always the stubborn type with that kind of stuff until someone suggested it and I gotta say it works. I’ve had no pain for awhile now so I haven’t been wearing it lately. It comes and goes.
How clever you are. I don't think I could eat with my left hand .
And I couldn’t eat with my right LOL
I do catch a little grief over it sometimes, like being called lefty and harmless stuff like that. It’s all in good fun though.
It must come in handy (lol!..excuse the terrible pun) to be able to use either hands.
It is pretty handy but it does get some weird looks. One day I was at the baseball batting cages with my nephew and his dad and I was hitting right handed. Well, I was hitting pretty good so about halfway through I turned around and started hitting left handed. They couldn’t believe I could do both cause they never saw me play years ago. It was quite a shock to them.
It must come in handy (lol!..excuse the terrible pun
Oh, I love terrible puns! I use them all day.
Here comes nosey-LL ......
How is the writing going? are you still at it?
I have missed your nosiness! I didn’t write much for a few weeks unfortunately. Work got crazy for awhile but I got back to it this weekend. I wrote a big part of yesterday and again today. There’s just never enough time unfortunately, is there?
Aw, I can only imagine how emotional it must get for you and in a way that's why I admire you all the more for doing this, because its not easy. You are always so grateful for things in life even though you've had incredibly sad times and the fact you can still smile and laugh with those memories shows how strong and appreciative you really are
You don’t know how much I appreciate reading that! Nothing could make me smile more. And no, it’s not easy. It wasn’t easy 14 years ago and it’s not easy now. But easier? Yes, most definitely.
My family and the people I work with do tiptoe around me a little when the subject comes up, and that’s understandable. Some days, , if I am thinking about it, it can be a little harder to laugh or smile. But then I realize that she doesn’t want me to be sad, and I don’t want her to be sad either if she is watching. Not to mention that I still love her more than anything and that’s really all that matters. A few mistakes at the end of a life don’t define the entire life, not to me anyway.
I think its fair enough staff get disciplined over dangerous stuff like that, they must forget the cameras are on them maybe?
Some people forget I guess. I know I’ve forgotten a couple of times on minor things. I think some people just don’t care either and look at it as an invasion of privacy so they get a little defiant, which I totally understand. But it’s our job, and I can’t afford to just quit, so I go along with it.
I get very huffy when I see someone driving along whilst holding a phone to their ear, its madness taking that risk.
I will admit to being guilty of this over the years, but I guess the cameras cured me cause now I won’t do it anymore. I see too many accidents all the time and so many of them are phone related. I learned eventually.
Ooo good question

shall we set a goal for 5100? what does everyone think?
I think we should. I had forgotten all about this. We should definitely set a goal for post 5100. Let’s see, what’s reasonable?
