TO START...

NAME THE CORONATION STREET YEAR...?

1. An engagement is off when the man is discovered to be a foreigner, after a work permit.
2. A man discovers that his mother is really his aunt, and his aunt is really his mother.
3. A woman is brutally murdered by her husband, leading to the wrong man being treated as a suspect.
4. A woman discovers her long-lost son has been killed in a car crash, and attempts suicide with a load of aspirins.
5. An engaged couple cancel their wedding after two months together.
6. The ghost of a deceased resident spooks the Rovers.
7. A man is arrested & charged with possession of stolen goods.
8. A trio of troublesome teenagers trash houses, break car windows & steal porn magazines from the shop.
9. The teens start a fire at the factory, in which two workers are burned to death.
10. A young, but longtime resident dies of a heart attack.
11. Two youths break into the Rovers and terrorise & bully the landlady into parting with her valuables, leading her to collapse in shock and be rushed to hospital.
12. A teenage girl takes a fancy to her much older teacher, and starts bullying & blackmailing younger children into supplying her with cigarettes.
13. A woman gives another woman a black eye for spreading malicious lies about her husband cheating on her.
14. A former barmaid returns with a new fiance, and suspects the new barmaid is out to seduce him.

CAN YOU NAME THE EMMERDALE YEAR...?

1. A woman leaves on a cruise, after constant rows with her boyfriend.
2. A stalker traps his female victim in an alleyway, and becomes increasingly threatening towards her as she tries to make her escape.
3. A homeless man breaks into a house, and is discovered by the owner to have made himself at home.
4. A 17-year-old girl is raped and murdered and buried in the woods, in a bag, by the killer.
5. A suspect man is discovered to have fallen to his death from a window whilst trying to avoid further police interrogation.
6. The funeral of the suspect takes place, with only one mourner attending.
7. A man attacks his wife's bit-on-the-side outside The Woolpack... Leading to subsequent delayed shock.
8. A family home is destroyed when the fire is left burning.
9. A psychopathic killer attempts to rape and silence a young lady who has latched onto his previous killing.
10. A skull is discovered at a building site.
11. A young girl is taken to hospital after being buried alive by an out-of-control digger at a building site.
12. A lodger discovers his girlfriend in his bed, with their landlord.
13. A new mother dies of a sudden brain haemorrhage, 3 months after giving birth.
14. A young boy, skiving off school, falsely accuses an innocent man of assault after falling.
15. An elderly lady is hospitalised following a fall in the street.
16. The mother of a killer is arrested for assaulting a woman in the street.
17. A man is hospitalised after crashing his car on the outskirts of the village.
18. The publican's brother dies.
19. A villager is discovered to have caused his wife's death by repeatedly refusing to take her to hospital, resulting in her illness becoming terminal.
