My point remains the same as well. It's not difficult to pick up on patterns of behavior, especially when it's that specific.
But then again, maybe questions about the southern border, Ukraine refugees, and selling out one's principles are peak comedy that's going straight over my head.
I was generalizing, which is why I didn't quote you directly. Simply put, Harris isn't the first politician to be scrutinized (whether people think it's fair or not is another story.)

I honestly don't care about the election and decided months ago I was voting for RFK Jr.
But I just read on X that Hillary Clinton is being resurrected. If it's her, I'll vote for Trump. 100%. Can it please be literally anyone else aside from her?

A lot of Dems haven't gotten over Hillary losing in 2016 (including Hillary herself.) They're clinging hard to the pipe dream that this is Hillary's chance to take the White House.
Everything seems to be working in Trump's favor, and I think he'll beat whoever the Democrat nominee is. Of course, a lot can still happen between now and November.
One thing I've learned these last three election cycles is that just when you think things can't get any crazier, they always do.

I'm convinced Biden was persuaded to drop out somehow. He insisted just two days ago that he was staying in the race, so I don't think he just decided to put aside his ego.
If Trump were also to drop out, the race would likely be between Vance and Harris. Regardless of one's preference, one can articulate their ideas better than the other.

Trump wouldn't drop out no matter what. His ego and lust for power would never allow that.
As for what finally convinced Biden? Pelosi and Schumer I am thinking. They both met with him privately and told him not only would he lose for certain, but he would cause massive losses in the House and Senate.

That makes sense. It was obviously going to take some serious arm nudging to get him to drop out. Jill Biden must be really pissed right about now.

While it's nice to know that Clinton won't join the race, the remaining contenders to replace Biden are all duds in their own right.
On top of that, the party remains split even after Biden dropped out. The Clintons may have endorsed Harris, but Obama and Pelosi aren't backing anybody yet:

Obama, America’s first black president, remains one of the most respected leaders among Democrats and his lack of an endorsement of Harris could damage her candidacy and implicitly encourage new candidates to emerge.
Biden dropped out after Obama and other leading Democrats, including Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) privately expressed concerns that the sitting president would lead down-ballot Democrats to a wipeout defeat.
One Democrat who did not immediately endorse Harris was Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker — a possible presidential contender — who tweeted that “I will work every day to ensure that [Trump] does not win in November” without explicitly backing Harris.

Biden has already handed over the war chest. They filed paperwork changing name of the campaign committee from Biden for President to Harris for President. California is already shifting its delegates to Harris.

I honestly thought they would’ve thrown their hopes behind Michelle Obama. I even heard speculation about this earlier last week at the RNC. To me that would be their best chance and many seem to agree.

That may explain why Barack Obama isn't endorsing Harris at the moment. Despite being out of politics, he still loves inserting himself in the process.
For someone who apparently has "no interest in running," Michelle Obama's name certainly gets floated around a lot.
I slept much better last night after our president stepped down: it was obviously the right thing to do: at least now the Democrats have a chance to win this election. I cannot fathom a 2nd term of Trump-- I think the Republicans are going a little nutty now that Biden stepped down. Love to see them twist in the wind just a little bit!!

From what I've seen, the Dems are the ones twisting in the wind. This mess with Biden has thrown the party in disarray, which I'm sure the Dem leadership didn't expect. They thought they could just pick Harris (or whomever,) and the rest of the party would fall in line like always. As it turns out, the facade of their united front is starting to crack.
If the Dems didn't interfere in their primaries, worked to end the wars, and implemented policies that lifted up the poor and working class, they wouldn't have to worry about losing elections. However, they choose instead to meddle in their primaries, spend billions on foreign wars, and leave their citizens to struggle. All while they spent four years pretending Biden was cogent and fit for office. As awful as Trump and the Republican are, the Dems have made them seem like a viable option by being sinister themselves.

Republicans may be a "viable option" for all the reasons you listed. Trump, however isn't - at least not for me.
Harris would have never been my pick, but I will hold my nose and vote for her, same as I did Clinton and Biden. The Dems choose their candidate, rather than letting the voters truly choose, and they never seem to pick a decent one.
Harris has a strong record on women's reproductive choice, which is very important to me. She also seems to be more in the "middle" of the middle East conflict. She doesn't have a strong record when it comes to campaigning, but since her last go round she has logged four years as VP, so her skills may have improved.
For me, the choice is all about SCOTUS. I have seen the judges Trump appointed and he is promising more of the same. With Justice Thomas openly calling for challenges to same-sex marriage, birth control, and segregation precedents, we cannot afford to let Trump out even one more judge on that court.
