I'm somewhat agnostic on this topic. I just know I don't laugh or snicker anymore at people who believe we never landed on the moon.

Any opinions? You can vote for two options. (The vote is anonymous in order to hide your shame).

This topic of conversation came up at my workplace a few weeks ago. The younger ones were astonished when the elders disputed our landing on the moon. Before I continue on I should note I'm dealing with work colleagues who also believe the Kardashian family are actors.

I was only 4 when some bloke supposedly made that giant leap for mankind so I have no recollection of the event. I did find it interesting when one my work mates (elder) questioned whether we did in fact go there. One of the younger ones seriously questioned his thinking, the other guy said, "Well with all the advances in technology, especially in the last 10 years, why the hell have we not gone back?" Which had me thinking he had an excellent point. It's been 45 years since man has been there, what gives? Some argued we no longer need to go since we have the international space station.

As someone so eloquently put it when about to board the Millennium Falcon, "What a piece of junk." Where is our unified moment of doing something audacious for all humankind?

Does this topic qualify as "politics and religion"??

Yes, the production values and bad acting marked it.

Some claim that Kubrick directed the landing footage, but it's hard to believe he'd be that cheesy --- I mean, where that monolith??

I have checked out his supposed confession on youtube and although you could chalk his appearance up to the ravages of time he spoke with a different accent. So although I dont believe that confession I dont rule out him being behind it. Or if not him someone else. There are a lot of things wrong with it.

Real. We can indeed fly to other satellites in our galaxy. And we could in the 60s.
Are all images real though...? I think it's at least possible that they added some things in after the fact.
