She was in the CBB house one year and I was really excited, somehow I was hoping to see her act like Kim Tate (Emmerdale), she was nothing like her. She was really nice and well spoken, but out of her depth on the show. I'm sure she regrets going in because most of them are far too loud and full of themselves

It's a real shame what they did with her. She's a great actress and now I reflect on her time in Corrie I can easily say she will end up been forgotten. She never really made a mark on eh cobbles.

Pretty much like what they did with Michelle Collins and Sue Johnston.

She will always be the amazing Kim Tate to me... Watching Frank die of a heart attack after her return from the grave, then fabulously touching up her make up and leaving him there dead on the floor.

Corrie sucks the life out of talent. It's like watching really boring average neighbours.

I love Corrie, it's been my favourite UK soap since I was under ten. I don't find it boring (obviously, because I keep watching) and they do have some bloody good actors on there, however I can't disagree with your post, it's true of many actors over the past 20 years.

So many times over the years I have got excited about someone joining Corrie then I tuned in and just didn't get it. I don't even bother now.

You forgot to mention Sarah Harding




That said, they are only a couple of them.

The actors which I think do have great talent are those playing Jenny, Roy, Gina, Mary, Pat, Tim, Daniel, Todd, David, Peter, Leanne, Toyah and Johnny

The latest one everyone seems to be jumping about over is Vic Reeves, personally, I'm not looking forward to that. They had Paddy McGuinness a few years back and it was an awful character.

God... No... This is all that is wrong with Corrie. I get that they tout themselves as a humorous soap, even though that's not even true anymore, but Vic Reeves? Paddy McGuinness? Just no.
