For my sins I most associate him with being the recast for Halloween's Dr Wynn in the fifth sequel. A terrible film, but still a nice performance. And he played really well off Donald Pleasence:

He was in a lot of TV shows, of course including the Who Shot Bobby mystery of "Dallas". He was quite good in that "Dallas" precedent that was "Executive Suite" where he played Leigh McCloskey´s father.

He was a great character actor. I liked him on Dallas, but my favorite role of his was in Liar Liar. The scene where Jim Carrey's character "roasts" him is hilarious!

It's sad that he passed, but at least he lived a long life.
