Last November I surprisingly found myself at Sizewell nuclear power station. Last thing I expected until I pulled up to the gates.

Have you ever decided not to go for a promotion at work?

Yes, about two years ago I was offered a job in management but turned it down.


What would you say disappoints you most in this big, wonderful, crazy world of ours?

Lots! But I'm always disappointed when someone, anyone makes value judgements about a person et cetera based on their superficial differences.
But, kinda unique to me in my sphere, my eyes roll and I ask.... why? When ITV actually opt to replace Emmerdale with live football. Some big European running around after a ball thing instead of the insane contrived carry on up there in 'Dale.

Is there something in your past that if you could, you'd go back and tell the younger you... don't do it, think about it, or simply No!

Yes. When I was a teenager I had a huge falling out with my family and I became estranged from them for months. I hurt them pretty badly at the time and looking back on it it was all very selfish and stupid.


What is the ideal good nights sleep for you?

Long and not waking up 2 or more times to go for a call of nature.

Interesting fact... I recently met the, now former, MP for the constituency I live in.

But back to the matter in hand. I've often thought that I'd be a wizard prime minister. I'd get things going just right.

If it was possible, which planet in our solar system would you like to spend some time exploring?

Probably Saturn because I’ve always liked the rings and would like to explore them.

Would you stop to reunite a lost dog with its owner if you thought it was lost?

Hmm... plenty plenty of 'em. The caveat being on who you ask!
But the one that springs to mind is... proclivities that are indulged in but should be a footnote from a bygone era.

In retrospect, is there a period of your life that you seldom talk about, but will share with only a very trusted friend(s)?

Not really. Maybe at one time there were things I didn’t want to bring up but I notice as I get older I’m okay with talking about anything.

Nah, I just think it’s a place to avoid as there seems to be something going on that isn’t good.
