Ann Reinking, Tony Winner and Star of Broadway’s ‘Chicago,’ Dies at 71

Tony Award-winning Broadway legend Ann Reinking, an actor, dancer and choreographer, died on Saturday night in Washington. She was 71.

So sad to report that Ann Reinking has passed away.

She was one of the first Broadway stars I saw at the age of 9, in my favourite musical, Annie, in which she played Grace Farrell.

An amazing talent, who will be sadly missed.

I saw her on Broadway in her co-starring role with Bebe Neuwirth in CHICAGO revival in the late 90s. I'm not a theater buff, but it was obvious I was witnessing theatrical greatness and it remains one of the best live performance -- play, musical or concert -- that I've seen.

I didn´t know she was that age. I liked her in every movie I saw her in, and seemed to be a decent human being as portrayed in the series "Fosse / Verdon". RIP (oh please 2020 leave right away!!)
