I hope she will be ok too. My thoughts are with her family at this difficult time right before the holidays. :(

She's very much into still getting electroshock therapy, even though its archaic. I'm assuming that that wouldn't be good for your heart. Also, she's done every drug and brand of alcohol for years (though she has "allegedly" quit, but that still won't have any effect on damage already done) and is rumored to have went on crash diets for the upcoming two Star Wars movies due to being ridiculed RE: her weight RE: the last installment.

Not sure about the rest, but it is true that she was "urged" to go on a diet in order to film a cameo for another SW film. I'm not sure how such an effort might contribute to a heart attack, but I hope the two are not related. We are so used to seeing her as Princess Leia and we forget it's not 1977 any more. At any rate, at last report she was stabilized (moved from emergency room to ICU), so hopefully she's gotten through the worst part.

Maybe she was forced to watch Postcards for the Edge as the in-flight movie and it did her in?

My sense is that what Debbie R. is gently trying to convey with her "stable" statement is "They've done everything medically possible for Carrie, neurological tests have confimed that she's brain dead, and she's been moved to a private regular room so we can say goodbye to her, so please give us our privacy until we are ready to announce her passing. " and the announcement will be made by the end of this week. My heart goes out to Debbie, having to bury a child is something a parent is never ready for.

This one upsets me since Princess Leia was my favorite character in Star Wars. :(
My sympahties goes out to her mother Debbie Reynolds, since no mother should ever have to bury their child and also to her daughter. I pray they will find the strength to get through this difficult time. RIP Carrie.
