In the UK doctors and nurses who are treating patients with covid-19 don't get tested because the government are limiting the number of people it wants to test. Only patients with symptoms that are so serious they need to be admitted to hospital are tested. However, Prince Charles we are told only has mild symptom and Camilla has none but they both get tested promptly. We really have a disgusting set of priorities here.

I hope Boris Johnson never gets covid-19 but if he were to maybe he should ask Prince Charles and Camilla to give him medical treatment.

But he's not some rich guy or celebrity, he's royalty, and if he gets seriously ill (or worse) then the royal family has to be prepared.
I'm sure there's already some kind of script, but the circumstances are different now.

I'm not saying that he deserves to be a priority patient, but this is how it's done when you have a monarchy.

We'll survive. There's William. Then his kids. Plus William's other relatives.
Charlie is old and not extremely popular either. Doesn't most people want to skip over him anyhow? Go straight for William.
I secretly think the crown might get stronger if Charles didn't get it.

FORMER Dynasty actress Emma Samms, who lives in Stroud, has revealed that she has coronavirus.

Emma, who famously starred in Dynasty and The Colbys, shared the news on Twitter yesterday.

The soap star also shared her sadness at not being able to be with her daughter Micha on her 22nd birthday, as she is still self-isolating after contracting the virus.

She wrote: "This is my beautiful daughter Micha. It’s her 22nd birthday today but she’s on her own and I’m on day 10 of dealing with coronavirus, so I can’t even give her a hug."

History is repeating itself here. Prince Bertie was quite old and not well liked when he finally succeeded Queen Victoria, but he eventually became a popular monarch as Edward VII.

This might only matter to an old-school soap fan like me, but I found out that Forrest Compton, who played District Attorney Mike Karr on The Edge of Night, passed away due to complications of Covid-19 at the age of 94.
Mike Karr was old-school soap hero at its best--crusading district attorney out to lock up all the bad guys, always doing the right thing, etc. modeled on Perry Mason. Compton was the third (and final) actor to play the role, from 1971 to 1984 when the show was cancelled.

Swedish tv personality and radio talk show host Adam Alsing has died from Corona at the age of 51. He started his career around 1990 by hosting a dating show called "Tur i Kärlek". I remember watching that when I was in middle school. He has since gone on working within TV and also radio. Everyone over here pretty much know who he was so Sweden is in shock about this. :omg:

My thoughts goes out to his family. What's extra tragic about this was that he was supposed to have become a grandfather in may but never got to meet his grandchild. :(
