Yes, Tucker used to be a contemptible rightwing mouthpiece. But time has improved his character, and he began dressing down the corporations and their hold on the federal government -- which is what led to his firing, from the highest-rated news show in all of television, from FOX.

Even FOX gave it away when they admitted he'd become "repellent to blue chip advertisers" because that's who run the media not the audience nor the audience's size.

So he's redeemed himself, more or less. I was stunned it took them so long to fire him.

Carlson's redemption arc was unexpected, but certainly welcomed. Like Joe Rogan and Dore, he doesn't need a corporate news platform and is better off without it.

I think the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice are better placed for making the judgment regarding Israel's genocide than an anonymous person on a website dedicated to watching TV. Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch are also more trusted sources regarding Israel's apartheid regime.

But I'm getting sidetracked, Trump is a convicted criminal and should be in jail.

Probably. But so should a lot of his peers who never have a hand placed on them -- and his selective prosecution is to distract from Biden's failures (and the fact the Democrats refuse to offer up a better candidate).

If Trump wins, I wish it would at least teach the Democrats a lesson -- but it didn't in 2016, and it won't in 2024... And, sadly, the policies won't be much different either way.

Only the color of the flatulence will vary.

It's possible to believe two things at the same time.

For instance - it's possible to believe that Trump is guilty and hell and should go to jail while also believing that other presidents have done just as bad and/or worse and got away with it.

Or -

It's possible to believe Israel has the right to exist and the right to defend itself while also believing that innocent Palestinians also have the right to exist without being slaughtered by an overly aggressive military response by Israel that is targeting civilians instead of Hamas.

I doubt very seriously he serves time. Even if he is sentenced to jail, I think he can delay it while he appeals - and the appeals court may very well overturn his conviction.

I have to agree with this. I’d be surprised if he did serve any time but at this point I guess anything is possible. Quite honestly I didn’t even expect him to be found guilty on all 34 counts. I’m sure he will tie this thing up in knots for as long as he can.
