I would have had Season 8's finale be a truck pulling up outside Falcon Crest. Wendy Phillips in a Dr.'s coat steps outside of the driver's side. Robert Foxworth steps outside the passenger side and looks on longingly at the house. In the premiere, the man tells his Dr nothing about it rings a bell. Angela and Frank pull up in their jeep and freak out. Inside the living room, Chase tells everyone he has no recollection of his past. He was rescued by a boat in the San Francisco Bay and had been recovering at a private clinic, where Dr. Lauren Daniels was his attending physician. He had no clue who he was until coming across an article about the disappearance of Chase Gioberti and seeing his picture. Maggie has been coping with Richard being in jail and moving forward. Chase's reappearance and lack of memory confuse her. She decides to spend time with him and try to help him piece together the past. Dr. Daniels, who is married, finds herself feeling jealous but keeps it to herself. Her brother Michael Sharpe happens to have a past with Richard that leads to him getting out of prison. It all goes according to the original. He and Maggie reconcile. All of Richard's storyline with Lauren would go to Chase instead. Samantha Ross reappears after learning she was adopted and learning from her family's records her biological parents were Melissa's and her birthdate matches hers. Samantha adjusts to being Melissa's twin and grows close to Lance. Tommy Ortega deals with Kelly drowning in the lake, and the Ortegas leave. Pilar realizes she is losing Lance to Samantha and leaves to be with her family. Samantha learns she is pregnant after she and Lance become engaged. Chase regains his memories after falling in love with Lauren and proposes. They marry at Falcon Crest in the finale. Do you have ideas?
