And my Favourites playlist just got filled up with ABBA. Again!!

This looks quite different to my previous ABBA favourites, I think. But there's still a definite bias towards their later albums.

1. The Way Old Friends Do

2. Dame! Dame! Dame!

3. Knowing Me, Knowing You

4. The Visitors

5. The Winner Takes It All

6. No Hay A Quien Culpar

7. As Good As New

8. The Day Before You Came

9. The Piper

10. Voulez-Vous

11. Me And I

12. Summer Night City [Full-Length Version] (It only works for me with that haunting ballad intro).

13. Like An Angel Passing Through My Room

14. On And On And On

15. Head Over Heels

John Williams

Top 15

john-williams-5-1381829995-view-1.jpg

John Towner Williams (born February 8, 1932) is an American composer, conductor, and pianist. With a career spanning over six decades he has composed some of the most popular and recognizable film scores in cinematic history, to many of the highest-grossing films of all time, including Jaws, the Star Wars series, Superman, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, the Indiana Jones series, Jurassic Park, Schindler's List, the first two Home Alone movies, and the first three Harry Potter films

Williams has released 142 albums and we could be here all week trying to narrow down his best tunes individually, so I’m going to ask that everyone vote of their top fifteen movie scores by John Williams.

John Williams

Ooh! This is an unexpected treat!!

Individual tracks could have been really interesting, but I suspect would get very, very messy indeed, so looking at each film as a piece of work is a great idea too. After all, he's won the majority of his awards for the scores overall rather than one piece.

:thank:

There's a few individual tracks that I really enjoy, but with so many films and so many sequels I thought it would be tricky to deal with. Keeping it as film scores is much more manageable, however I should have gone with my first instinct which was to give Williams the TOP FIFTEEN treatment.

I love the Star Wars theme, but I also love The Imperial March and Duel of Fates
