I really dont understand celebs who share this all with the public, and fight it in the glare of publicity
For me that would be horrendous
Call me a cynic, but i bet there will be a book deal at the end of it, like a few in UK - i just dont get that. I rather admire people who fight it quietly and out of limelight.

I saw JLD in NY when i went to see larry and Linda on a morning news show! I didnt have a clue who she was!

I think it would leak out either way. Especially because the production of her HBO series Veep will be resceduled to fit in her cancer treatments. It would absolutely have raised questions among journalists. So by revealing it herself, she's taking control of her own situation.

Yes, sometimes it to keep straight a story they know they won't be able to keep out of the tabloids.

For years, Cedar Sinai in L.A. had snoops in the records department selling medical secrets of the stars to the press. Illegally, of course.
