So many of the people I used to watch on TV when I was young have died in recent years: Brian Cant, Mike Smith, John Noakes, Tony Hart and now Cheggers. 60 is too young an age to die.

I will add that while watching 80s Corrie (currently showing in the afternoons) I'm finding it extremely sad as I look at the cast back then.

Gosh, that's a shocker!

My very thought. I had to re-read the title to make sure I'd read it correctly.

Incidentally, I could have sworn he was married to Sarah Greene, but that was Mike Smith, wasn't it?

Also - I had no idea until today that Cheggers had co-written S Club 7's Reach. Now I'm finding the lyrics strangely moving.
