Coronation Street Kym Marsh quits role

It's been reported that Kym Marsh is quitting her role of Michelle Connor 13 years after first stepping foot on the Corrie cobbles.

In the storyline, writers will apparently leave it open for her to return should she wish to come back at a future date.

Ive given up on Corrie quite a while ago but I used to like Kym Marsh and think she could act and did some very good scenes over the years especuially when baby was still born
But last year i found her character annoying - but some of the plot lines were silly (was she kidnapped in a former boy friends nice house - cant remember its a dim and distant memory!?)

is there life after Corrie?? only time will tell but she must be giving up quite a well paid job, with a lot of free time for pastures new
