"Hollyoaks viewers are going to love it when Tabby whips up a storm just like Sue Ellen did. I'm thrilled to be going from one iconic series to another and can't wait to work with the fantastic cast.”

Hollyoaks boss reveals Linda Gray could stay on the show on a semi-regular basis
@Sarah
The good news just keeps coming for Hollyoaks fans as it's now been revealed that Linda Gray could be joining the cast on a more permanent basis.
Earlier this year, we learned that the iconic Dallas star had taken on the role of Marnie Nightingale's mum, Tabitha Maxwell-Brown.
But while her original stint will be fairly fleeting, the show's producer Bryan Kirkwood hinted that it won't be the last we see of her, while speaking at a Hollyoaks press event today
When asked if Linda could join the cast on a regular basis, he said: "It's looking that way. I wouldn't say regular but semi-regular.
"The conversations are continuing and she feels like a really natural member of the Nightingale family. If you look at the linear between her, Marnie and Ellie - all three of them are all stunning women and I believe in it. I believe she is part of that family."
Bryan also spoke about his delight at getting Linda on board with the show, saying: "My husband Andy and I were watching Dallas on YouTube and were wondering who could possibly play Marnie's mum.
"Andy suggested Victoria Principal but my eyes were fixed on Linda Gray. Peter - our casting agent - is brilliant, and he made the call almost immediately.
"Amazingly, we got called almost immediately back saying she is interested. I fell off my chair. And then they asked if they could see a couple of episodes. I was worried she was going to think we were shit but luckily she didn't.
"She was absolutely fantastic and everything you'd want. Quiet, dignified, gentle and sweet. She was absolutely no fuss and a wonderful, wonderful person to have around."

The episodes usually end up on YouTube, so that could be a way for you to see Linda in action.

She looks great, I may be tempted to tune in when she's on. Interesting and funny that someone suggested Victoria Principal. She hasn't acted in soooooooooo long and wouldn't even do Dallas TNT can you imagine her coming to do Hollyoaks?
I wonder what way the casting process worked. We heard recently that Joan Collins turned down a part on the show just before it was announced Linda was joining. Though I cant imagine they wanted Joan for the same role?
