What was the reason for Melissa not doing anything with her hair? Her wedding to Lance in 1982 was the one time I can remember her hair up.

I don't know the answer to this, as far as why she didn't change the style sometimes(that I'm recalling?), but I always thought the shot of her in the second season intro, where her hair looks kinda lighter stands out(or am I just seeing things, it looks lighter-bottom right shot). From memory, right now, that's about the only time I've noticed any real difference. I'd have to go back and re-watch, but I'm assuming the shot of her with the lighter hair was from an early appearance in the first season?
She could have changed the style more often, or "they" could have, but at the same time, it always looked nice as it was, and maybe she took Billy Joel to heart-"don't go tryin', some new fashion, don't change the color of your hair".
