I read an article yesterday about the obvious fact that the Democrats demand their accused men resign, while the Republicans just deny-deny-deny (which includes pushing that child molesting maniac Roy Moore from Alabama into congress so they can have enough votes to give those unfortunate super rich the tax breaks they desperately need).

Some of the more clever rightwingers have been gleefully chortling -- and with some reason, I'm afraid -- that the leftist women are so energized by this latest warlock hunt over male sexual harassers, both in Hollywood and Washington, that they're cannibalizing their own guys (and not in a sexual way, of course) who have supported feminism in the past, those guys now suckers and targets of the women they'd helped in their equality causes, those rightwingers delighted to see the liberals meltdown from the inside, the left's men being destroyed by the left's women.
Yes, I see it happen all the time. You have to walk on egg shells around them, and if you don't phrase things the way they want you to, they'll lump you in with the worst of the worst.

And while most of us condemn sexual harassment and assault, there is indeed this current kneejerk reaction to any accusation (or obviously organized set of accusations directed at any given man) where the men must be fired with minimal (or even any) proof, and this presumption that the accused harassers are metaphors for all men and the horror that all women have faced at the hands of all men.

We really don't want to make the conservatives correct about anything, but the left is comin' pretty damned close to doing that.
Yes, because who has time for an investigation? If a woman accuses a man of anything, he's obviously guilty because men are inherently evil.

At least that's what the misandrist third wavers would like us to believe. They want to doll out their brand of justice, and we're just supposed to shut up.

"Choosing consequences doesn’t belong to you (men) anymore.”

Actress Amber Tamblyn's cleverish piece for NYT --- and she doesn't seem too concerned about false allegations against men:
Tamblyn's always been that way. She's a huge Hillary Clinton supporter, and claimed outrage over Hillary's takeover of the DNC showed that we "treat women differently." As if the left would have been less upset if a man had done that. She also lumped Bernie Sanders in with Harvey Weinstein and Donald Trump as men who've caused women "all kinds of pain." When people pushed back, she admitted that Bernie was on the "other end of the spectrum" from Weinstein and Trump, but was still a "wound" for some women. Because, as we all know, a man is never to run against a woman in a primary. Why, that's just as bad as sexually assaulting and harassing women, don't you know? That's why I loathe identity politics.

She must keep her husband's balls in a jar. Wouldn't want any of his "toxic masculinity" to hurt anybody! Also, only a third wave feminist could make the idea of innocent until proven guilty and measured consequences seem like bad things. Guilty or innocent, friend or foe, men must take the fall. So yeah, Tamblyn sounds like a horrible person.

I almost posted a millennial's 'response to boomers', in the interest of equal time. But it was a bit too pathetic, so I didn't.

I'm not sure how or if this applies; it's just kind of smugly humorous:

I laughed because these kind of self-absorbed, entitled millennials who live on social media do exist. Unfortunately, they're also being used as the poster child of an entire generation.

The problem with being a part of any group is people tend to define you by the weakest links in your ranks. I've seen millennials treat boomers the same way.

I like what Weekend Update's Michael Che said: "Democrats hope that by forcing Al Franken to step down, they're going to make themselves the party of the moral high ground. Calm down Democrats, you're still politicians, you're the party of the morality in the same way that Donald Trump Jr. is the handsome Trump brother."

"Are you a decent, good guy? Prove it by surrendering your identity and metaphorically castrating yourself to get a few minutes of grace from the feminists who will never allow you to be anything except an apologetic, barely to be tolerated ally to their hateful and depraved cult."

"Women's social capital is now being tied to the #metoo victim identity."

Yes it is. It's created a bandwagon effect. Now anything a man has said or done to a woman that's pissed her off can be misconstrued as something more sinister.

But really, is there anything men do that isn't sinister in the eyes of third wave feminists? I can't count how many times I've seen feminist articles lambasting men for sharing their experiences of abuse. These "equality" loving feminists claim these men are trying to steal the spotlight from them. They also slam men who use the "#notallmen" hashtag in order to show the separation between decent men and abusive men. Apparently, that's just cis-hetero men normalizing the patriarchy, or whatever brand of word salad bullshit they're selling.

Here's a commercial worth checking out. It shows a male athlete getting locked out of his room in his underwear. The maid let's him in, but not before snapping a picture of him without his consent and splashing it all over social media. I'm personally not bothered by it because it's just a commercial. What really kills me is the double standard. If the genders were reversed, It would have been yanked a second after it aired. Everybody involved in the making of the commercial would be forced to apologize, but not before losing their jobs.

Again, equality in action.

Oh, boy -- now even conservatives are defending liberal actors, albeit a bit smugly, thru 8:30 (Nutty Rose McGowan wants the media to stop saying "alleged"):

I like that they defended Damon's stance against conflating sexual harassment with sexual assault, but it was certainly done smugly. Notice the reminders to their conservative audience that Damon is still "loathsome" because of his politics and criticisms of Trump (a guy who actually bragged about committing sexual assault).

That said, I do agree with Tammy Bruce that this issue is about behavior and control. Jodie Foster, Rose McGowan, Amber Tamblyn, and other high profile third wave feminists have chosen to treat all men as being responsible for sexual harassment and assault. For all their talk of "toxic" masculinity, it is they who have a toxic view of men. I read up on Foster, and she claims men under 30 aren't the problem because they've been "put through the wringer" when it comes to learning about consent. Funny; I'm 34, yet I never had to take classes to know what consent means. Do people really think predators wouldn't be that way if only they were taught consent? Bullshit. They do what they do because they lack a conscience.

In Foster's defense, she did say that not all guys are like that -- a dangerous concession to make these days.

McGowan is a psychotic who likely wants to kill or be killed.

I noticed that third wave feminism feces has even infested lame kiddie shows like Fuller House. I saw an episode last night, and this teenage girl tried convincing all of the girls at her school that this dorky guy was a good kisser. One girl stepped up and wanted him to prove it, at which point the girl who started the rumor kissed him instead. She complimented him on what a good kisser he really was, and he said she wasn't bad herself. At that point, she slugged him in the arm and said "I don't need a man to validate me."

It was an extremely cringey moment, which of course was met with cheering from the audience. So it was okay for her to initiate the kiss and to say she liked it. However, when he returned the compliment, it somehow meant her self worth was being tied into how good a kisser she was. At least that's how the scene was played. And don't get me started on her slugging him unprovoked. Again, we always hear how you're never to hit a girl, but it's okay to show a girl hitting a guy. When did feminism stop being about equality and start being about double standards? The mixed messages this girl was giving off are being normalized, while a guy's every move is constantly scrutinized. No wonder groups like MGTOW exist.
