Now I know why there are no opening credits, it's all part of the "reality" aspect.

In fact there are, but they're tacked to the end and roll rigt before the end credits.

Anyway...

I thought the second part with the reality show was better, and I just realized that AHS is actually one of the best comedies I've ever seen.
It was so clever and funny to mix the "real people" with the actors who play them - and I liked it that, despite all the horror that was going on, they never stopped "being" those actors.

"I'm not an American! I'm not used to this carnage!"
"I have played her for six months, I know her better than I know myself!"

And then the guest appearance by Lana Winters, who has now become a fictional icon and mega-star in a fictional story in a fictional story.
Isn't that awesome?

I'm half way through this season and I'm not really feeling it. Last season's throat slashing's has been replaced with slaughtered pigs. I keep thinking it will get better but it's not so far and I'm able to multitask while watching because it's just not that interesting.

Part of me wants to think that Jessica Lange didn´t leave the show but was fired, and actually possessed by her Supreme character, who made her do voodoo on those Lange-less seasons...Hahahaha!​

Urrgghhhh Now 6 episodes in and it's definitely the most boring and plodding season so far and the least scary. That's quite enough for one day.

I like watching these actors, I find them so entertaining.
Watching Roanoke purely as a "story" may not be so awesome, I reckon.

I've given up on this. I just really wasn't enjoying it. I found it to be dull, boring and basically shit. Those fake English accents were awful too. The whole concept of it being based around a reality show does nothing for me. I find those dull anyways so you can imagine how I feel about this.

It just feels really lazy and badly done now. Nothing at all like the show's best years. This season is making me hate the cast. I think I'm done with it altogether now.

The whole concept of it being based around a reality show does nothing for me.

I enjoyed Roanoke in my second run (binge) as a whole persiflage of those god awful reality shows (and what these can do with people ), and somehow that kind of worked for me throughout.
But I hate reality-tv crap too, as well as "Murder mystery documentation shows" which basically the first 5 episodes were a persiflage of.
Not sure if that was their intention, but that's how i watched it. A horrific parody.

I gave up on it, just like I did with Hotel, Coven and the one about the nuns. The best series for me has been the first and the Freakshow.
