Her family said she died peacefully in her London care home having had Parkinson's for several years.

I remember her best from the TV sitcom No Honestly. Great actress on TV, film and stage. Sad news.

I´m very sorry for her passing. She, along with Jean Marsh, were my two favorite "actors" from "Upstairs, Downstairs", probably the first show I developed a sort of cult for. I followed her career, and will see movies I haven´t yet. She was just a wonderful "tragic comedian" who gave working-class roles as much depth as if they were Shakespearean ladies. And with a BIG sense of humor... RIP.

La Collins has been posting a few pics with her as a tribute. I guess people has been calling home to give their condolences to Percy, and she wants the world to know that she is still alive and kicking!
