I don’t get it. I mean it’s one thing if you don’t know how that particular girl spells it. But how can you misspell it if it’s right there sitting in front of you already spelled out?People who spell my name without an H even though the H is right in front of them on an email for example.

Only once I left the supermarket without buying anything and it felt very weird (because the checkout is the only way to leave, obviously). The only thing that made it a little easier was the comforting thought that I was never going to return to that shambles of a supermarket (it starts with an "L" and ends with "idl")They will pass by the cart area in the lobby/front as they leave
I’ve always felt uneasy walking out of a store without having bought something. I’ll avoid all eye contact as I leave cause I’m afraid they’ll think I stole something instead.Only once I left the supermarket without buying anything and it felt very weird (because the checkout is the only way to leave, obviously)
For a boy or a girl.I'm sorry about this but the name Emerson, for a girl, really really annoys me.
Well apart from Wilson. Wilson Wilson at Southfork. Absolute legend. For a boy or a girl.
Emerson is a surname. The use of surnames for given names in general annoys me.
Or calling kids Kobe and Dante. IN IRELAND. @AlexisIt's not new to do this, though. One of my uncles got his mother's maiden name as his first name when he was born in 1947. My mother got a variation on my grandfather's middle name even earlier than that. I think it's just gotten more and more wacky (as in inappropriate surnames) as people have embraced silly names for their kids in general.
I will say that while Emerson is kind of cringey, it sure beats the hell out of this whole Aiden/Jayden/Kayden/Leyden/Creighton/Leighton/Peyton nonsense I see among all these bourgeois millenial parents around here. if you like the name, fine---just be ready for your kid to be one of a dozen Aidan/Caydin/Shayden kids in their classes, and all those rhyming names in one place will cause chaos in the classroom.
(old joke---no offense)
