Anyone who plays videos on their phones at full volume in a public setting. That sort of thing needs to be done with headphones in your ears, if you must do this at all.

There should be signs posted all over the place reminding these people "Nobody wants to listen to your sh----- music."

Similarly, people who walk around chatting on their phones not holding it to their ear but waving it around like they're holding a piece of pizza.

People who use the term 'woke' to label those they misunderstand/disagree with. It's origins lie in fighting racial prejudice and creating a more equal society. Such a shame it's been twisted into a term of abuse in recent years.

I refuse to use it in any debate or discourse as I know it will just pull me down a rabbit hole fighting someone else's ignorance. Like other pejorative terms (Zionism, 'illegal' migration, the undeserving poor) it's very difficult to have constructive debates with people who resort to labelling and othering those they disagree with.

Being socially conscious is a great thing IMO, but I hate when people become the thing they oppose. By that, I mean intolerant and wanting to suppress speech they don't like.

I'm also not a fan of people engaging in behavior that they call out in others. People slip up sometimes, but those who do this repeatedly have a lack of self-awareness.

"Woke" was a term arrived at by the wokies themselves, not realizing how it would be used against them.

Yes, the rightwingers have cynically used the term as a campaign slur to try and dismiss all legitimate liberalism or any sincere concern for marginalized people. But the Wokies have handed that weapon to them by becoming so outrageous, using their wokeism to obscure the fact that the political Left no longer services the working classes (or underclasses).

If we don't understand that, then we have no idea what's actually going on. (The USAID files verify that Wokeness was indeed a psy-op to sow chaos and ultimately facilitate regime change, which is why most countries don't want the agency supplying "relief" to their peoples).

So now, for all practical purpose, the Wokies and the anti-Wokies are on the exact same page. Only the rhetoric varies. (Which is why I've always said woke-ism as a rightwing plot to undermine the Left -- but the lefties took the bait like idiots, and those of that didn't are called closet-Trumpeters).

i'm with you i hate it when people play games on their cell phones and they have the sound on full without headphones, another thing i hate is 2 things face time, now people using it in private i have no issues. but what the hell do i need to hear what they talk about? on that same note people who talk using the speaker in public. my dad does this at home for some reason. again what the hell do i care what he or anyone talks about?

I recall sitting in the crowded waiting room of my local health department waiting for corrected copies of my mother's death certificate a few years back, and a swollen queen, both amazing and brave, was sitting there casually watching porn on her cellphone just in front of me and everybody, completely unselfconscious, like she was in the privacy of her own personal unhygienic toilet.

So, yeah, it can be a problem.

Amber Alerts on my phone. Can’t think of anything I hate more than the idea of a child missing or being abducted. It’s the most helpless feeling when I get that alert. I want to just jump in the car and try to go find them myself.

I got one a couple of weeks ago, and now the "Emergency!" emblem on my phone remains and I don't know how to get it off.

But I hate it. I hate not being able to trust people, again - in the past I just threw my trust towards people because what's the harm? I trust you, you trust me. It's very simple. Now?

There's absolutely no trust. No one can be trusted. Every time I speak to someone I start questioning their motives now - it's bothersome. I preferred the old me - the new me is objectively horrible. I've become meaner, more cynical and I absolutely hate it.

There's always that one thing in the back of my mind: If I step out of line and says something that will not please them, will they start to hate me?

But why would you care if they hate you back -- or expect any other reaction?

When watching an old newscast of way-back-when on YouTube, videos of the latest political things of today are in my recommended feed-- what I'd like to know is why YouTube tries to upsell me on the latest political troubles, often with seemingly quite inflammatory commentators (sometimes they aren't, but outrage is very much the order of the day these days).

People who send you food orders as a prank, unconcerned with how it impacts the vendor... Today, I had two different visitations at my door with "wrong addresses" (unusual around here, where Blackrock has bought out most of the houses, causing the population to be way down). The first were two young girls looking for somebody, and I told them they had the wrong address. And, one hour later, the second incident saw someone come to my door (he had the correct address) to nervously deliver "tamales," and I sent him away.

Made even more suspicious as the delivery boy didn't have any bags of food. He then went back to his car, a car full of people (unusual for a restaurant delivery service, I would think), and slowly drove away.
