Brooke has been married sixteen times. Yes, many of them were declared "invalid" or annulled and some actually ended in a proper divorce, but let that sink in. I think nine of those marriages were/are to Ridge. She also married Eric, Thorne, Bill, Nick, and some now-forgotten characters.

I started to write "gone down the aisle" sixteen times but this latest cheap-o wedding didn't involve an aisle, so...

Just as Y&R has hired/promoted someone to be a co-Executive Producer with their EP/Head Writer, so too has B&B. This bodes well for the show, I believe.

I don't think it bodes well at all, to be honest. Casey is very pro-Logan. Also, look at his Instagram. He pretty much follows Kelly Lang and Ashley Jones (Brooke and Bridget) everywhere they go. The show is already heavy pro-Logan with the Forresters marginalized. Now they added yet another pro-Logan to the exec team.

This guy also argued against Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy) in an official fan chat when Jacqueline tried to defend and explain Steffy's point of view versus Brooke/Hope. He pretty much called her out for being "wrong". Even though Jacqueline were really only saying how Steffy feels.

...and here I hoped another source of feedback might help Brad Bell get the show out of the ditch. From what you say, this is the guy who dug the ditch. Eeek!
Helped with the digging at least.
Not a good idea to hire someone who has the exact same bias as yourself if you want a balanced show with new ideas. But then again, Bell would never hire anyone with different ideas.

Casey is also the person who posted POSITIVE news about B&B scoring 4 Emmy nominations this year. He wrote that he was "so proud to be working on a show that just scored 4 Emmy nominations". While everyone else reacted with "only 4 nominations - and NONE for best show, writing or lead acting?! That's embarrassing!"
