There is a push for individuals to reduce their carbon emission at home and the pressure put on big business is no where as great. The issue too urgent and serious not to take a more holistic approach to the problem and everyone needs to take action now. This year (2024) the average global temperature is predicted to exceed 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels which was the limit set at COP21 (the Paris Agreement) so whatever governments claim they are doing, it clearly is not enough.</blockquote>
