By the end of the series, Richard had given Falcon Crest back to Angela on the condition that Michael and Kevin would each inherit 25 percent of it after Angela's death. Angela wanted to leave the remaining 50 percent to Lance, but was willing to give him ten percent so that he wouldn't leave Falcon Crest, although we didn't see that actually happen.

Over the course of nine seasons, Angela had already changed her will several times and it's entirely possible that she would have found a way to decide for herself who she would leave Falcon Crest to. But who should it have been? One person or several?

I want to see Maggie behind the desk at Falcon Crest (for a few episodes) because Angela doesn't-trust/wants-to-send-a-message-to her grandson, infuriating Lance.

All that is corrected after Maggie sinks into the great blue yonder to be with Chase.

No. Richard gave Angela 50%, and 50% to the boys, Michael and Kevin. Angela retains control of FC since the boys are minors. Angela gave Lance 10% of her 50% share, which makes her share 40%, whch is still a majority. Richard's and Maggie's sons had 25% each out of the total 50% given to the boys.
The real heir should be Joseph coz the deed on FC, which Melissa and Lance found in one of the caves in Season 7 proved that FC belonged to the Agrettis and stolen by the Giobertis. The deed was then stolen by Angela and Chao-li from the safe, when Melissa moved in to FC and did not change the codes in the safe , had a fake one made that Angela substituted in the safe. The FC changed hands after Melissa died at the beginning of season 8 and Angela was in a comma in season 9, but the truth remained that the Agrettis should still owned Falcon Crest.

The way Lance and Richard behaved I don't think they deserved to inherit the business. Julia was no saint either but she turned a corner with her mental health and was probably the most familiar with the business, in its eternity. So Angela should have left FC to her.

Yes ideally it would have gone to Julia but the fact that she was a fugitive wanted for murder from season 4 onwards meant they could never do much with her, not as as a public functioning member of society anyway. Although I guess they could have a re-trial or appeal where she gets off with an insanity plea.

Plus, I worry that if Julia were to inherit FC, she might end up sinking back into the swamp, so to speak, what with how "absolute power corrupts absolutely". Perhaps Angela would take into account that the stresses of running the winery and protecting the family legacy might cause Julia to snap again.

As long as she cuts down on the murders but keeps up the evil scheming I think that could be OK, more than OK actually, it could be great. She just needs to take a leaf out of mummy dearest's book and learn how to not get caught. Falcon Crest ideally needs an evil witch at the helm.
