Who was Dylan’s best love interest? For me it’s Brenda, she brought out the best in him, and he liberated her, also this love story was rather unfinished, we know they were together off screen until 1998 but still, my next preference would be Antonia even though they were together for a short time, I’m suprised at how popular this couple was, like Brenda she brought out his better side, Kelly was my least favourite simply because they were so ill suited to one another

I wish you would have done a poll where people could have voted on this. Unfortunately I don't know how to add one afterwards...

I really enjoyed both the Brenda & Dylan and Dylan & Kelly pairings. But my preference was Brenda & Dylan and also Kelly and Brandon. Those pairings were great. :)

I remember I liked Antonia too when I first watched the show. I vividly remember that scene in the rain after she'd been killed when Dylan is craddling her dead body. It was so sad. :(

Sorry, your right, I should have done a poll I’ll try and see if I can add one.

I agree with you on BrenDyl ;-) they were a great couple and set the mould for other teen super couples to come.

I agree that Brenda and Dylan had a more interesting dynamic since they were a bit of opposite attracts, the "good girl" dating the "bad boy" sort of... ;)

@Ome do you know if it's possible to add a poll to the first post in this thread?

I would say Brenda and Dylan were great together. I never liked him with Kelly.

I always felt like Antonia was just filling a role necessitated by the plot. And while Brenda/Dylan always had a more interesting story, I think Kelly made more sense for him.

And I'll say that I'm the better match for Brenda. :p

You know what I've been wondering is, had Shannen Doherty not left the show (meaning that Brenda would've returned after her summer in London), what affect would that have had on Dylan's season five downward spiral? Would Brenda's return from London have stopped him from drinking? Or would Brenda have refused to be with him while he was drinking? I do think that if Brenda had stayed with him, despite his drinking, I think he might've been a little more accepting of Kelly and Brandon's relationship.

It would have been interesting to see Brenda with Dylan during his downward spiral. I think he was with Valerie at the time and it was not the same at all.

I thought Kelly and Brandon were great together by the way.
