Helen Reddy - Take What You Find

Ooh, yeah! I'm not sure if her voice is best suited to disco -- she sounds a bit like someone's auntie on a coach trip to Studio 54 -- but I like it. My choice is a bit disco-y too:

'Sign of the Times' by Harry Styles. It's BIG!
I agree, it's a great song and instantly likeable, as if I've known this song for a very long time now.
The backing vocals (from 4:00 onwards) are awesome, it really lifts the song to epic heights. Personally I would have preferred the song to end with a fade-out rather than a clear ending. Because it needs to go on, like watching a plane disappear in the sky, or a boat in the horizon.

Gosh, it feels as if I've peaked into the future and retrospectively commented on a old #1 hit.
Excellent choice!

"Winner of the week Harry Styles blew all the critcs away."

Wouldn't it be great if this had been Justin Bieber's song?

Vanbot is a new discovery - for me - this week.

She was on the local news this week, as they were talking about her new album. The idea for the album was so cool that I had to check her out. Her new album is called "Siberia", and each song is inspired of one of the stops on the Trans-Siberian Railway - written on her 2 week trip there. "Making of..." video

So far, only 1 track from her Siberia album is out on YouTube - Collide (Krasnoyarsk):

Heard this in a Gelato shop while in Rome, I have no idea what they are singing, but the song is a total blast.

My My Generation - Decibel

Great! It couldn't be more '80s if it tried!

My favourite new discovery is 'Memory of You', a Girls Aloud B-side which sounds ever so like Blondie:

My first choice this week would be 'Loyalty' by Kendrick Lamar Featuring Rihanna, but it's not on the YouTubes.

So I've gone for 'The Black Swan' by Jake Thackray instead:

I've only ever owned ONCE & TWICE from Siouxsie & the Banshees and I recently got a real bargain on eBay when someone was selling off the back catalogue. The question I had was which album should I invest in first. Looking at their ONCE album, Arabian Nights is one of my favourites and so I opted for Juju and I'm really caught up in the whole album. Halloween was the first track that hit me, but after a few more listens, it's all about Monitor and I am going to kill it by overplaying, it's that brilliant!
