We all loved those Balls.

Oh I did love those balls! That ball in particular was fab thankyou.
I really liked Frank, wish he'd stayed a lot longer.
Oh Holly Harwood tut tut.
That look between Cliff and Sue Ellen (aww)
Those colours look amazing, always thought Sue Ellen's frock was black but it's green here, love it!

Miss Ellie is heard greeting Evelyn after greeting Jordan Lee. His pregnant wife was called Sarah in paternity suit.
What happened to Sarah?

I'm a huge fan of Dallas, but seriously why don't people accept the fact that there will not be any Bly ray release . we all speculate , we all share our thoughts or what we want !! would love to see a blu ray release of dallas, Knots Landing an Melrose Place ! But come on, how old are we? I'm 50 and probably most of us are born in the 70s or 60s, do you think we are the target of the market???

No, we’re not the target of the market anymore, but selfishly some of us can’t admit that. Plus the older we get the more stubborn we become, and the longer they make us wait for it the more bitter we get. So basically we’re old, stubborn, bitter people waiting for something that isn’t going to happen.

I'm knocking on the wrong side of 50, no one's putting me out to pasture quite yet I hope.

I still look forward to and get excited about anything Dallas which is pretty wow when you think Dallas began back when time began and even I'm older than Dallas so that's an achievement.

I'm obviously not the age of their target market, but I carry on in hope.

Saying that I'm more than content with my old fashioned no frills DVD collection.

As long as I can see that beautiful series with those beautiful faces, I don't care how fuzzy or imperfect the picture is.

J.R's cruelty brings on Sue Ellen's quivering lip...
Just rewatching this clip and noticed when JR goes outside after Sue Ellen he's wearing a totally different suit and tie from the earlier scene in the nursery.

It's the same evening as Sue Ellen's wearing the same outfit, (and Dusty has been waiting hours for her) she's just added her shaggy jacket.

Maybe JR quickly changed just to go outside or I never realised HD was quite so advanced.

Funny the things you notice in HD.

I've accepted the fact it won't be released on Blu-Ray. Like most things in life I let out an audible sigh and move on.

I've accepted the fact it won't be released on Blu-ray now too. Like most things in life my bottom has let out an audible sigh, phew, so it's time to move on!

There's still the possibility Warners could change their minds about a Blu-ray release if the series performs well on streaming sites. Fingers crossed everyone. Maybe next year. :)

JR may have changed to go out to the Ewing condo to meet Kristin.. was she still in the picture? Seeing Sue Ellen walk in those slacks, though, I’d say Dusty was shaping up to be the lucky one that night!

Kristin was still around but JR had cooled things off making excuses to her like he needed to have dinner with the family and not see her. He was growing increasingly jealous of Sue Ellen keep going out and didn't know who she was seeing.

Slacks..........I love that word!

We may not be the target audience but if the show is a success on streaming sites some of those new viewers may want to own the series on DVD or Blu-ray.

I think there is still every chance Dallas will make it to Blu-ray. :)

I really would love a BluRay release. I don't do streaming, and given how the discourse is going these days with streaming shows yanking stuff at a moment's notice I'd say even some younger people are noticing that maybe physical media isn't that bad after all.

That being said, I've pretty much also accepted that there won't be a Blu Ray release any time soon. But that's okay. I actually still have my old TV from 30 years ago that I use for retro gaming sometimes - the Dallas DVDs do look great on that one! lol
