I've read interviews where both Beck and Principal have talked about filming a shower scene together at the last minute. Principal had been expecting to see the scene earlier in the episode when it aired, and when it wasn't there, she thought that the scene had been cut. She didn't film the shower scene alone, she would have become suspicious and Katzman was bright enough to know that would happen. The man went through the whole ruse of bringing in an outside crew to film Duffy in a "commercial" off set, he didn't blow all of his efforts by letting Principal become suspicious.No.

I believe so. Haven’t watched this season in awhile now but that sounds right to me.
It certainly had that feel to me. She had made the rounds pretty much saying goodbye to people. She had buried the hatchet with Pam, finally, and said she was leaving Southfork as well so I’m not sure what else could’ve been done with the character going into the next season if there’s no dream. If she does return then maybe it’s to comfort Jack after Jamie’s death. That’s all I can figure.

Or else thought they were adding an earlier part to the scene where she walked to the shower... (I can't remember how their shower scene began, but I'm pretty sure there was one. so according to Victoria, at least the script had Mark in the shower. I kind of figure she'd mention it if John (or a rubber 'dead Mark Graison doll') were there when filmed that scene, but maybe he filmed something separately?
If you want to believe that Katzman was actually stupid enough to have brought Victoria and his crew in to film a suspicion raising scene of her just standing there opening the shower door without the actor that she was paired with at the time being there in the shower, feel free. And yes I'm completely sure of what I'm talking about. There are online interviews of Victoria Principal in Dallas documentaries (on YouTube) were she says that they only asked her back to film that scene. John Beck was not involved in any capacity with that scene of her waking up, getting out of bed and going to open the shower door.
Maybe she was led to believe that or she just thought that of her own accord.
