I considered starting a new thread about this upcoming thought, but decided to just post here: lately, I've been thinking yet again about how I'd rewrite the series for a new reboot, and one of the many, many things I'd do is condense the original 9 seasons into 7 (that's really just combining Seasons 1 & 2, and Seasons 7 & 8). That way, there's a catfight in every single season. ;)

But then I got to thinking about *all* the catfights I would have for each season, and here's what I have so far:

Season 1
-Fallon tries to slap Krystle, who catches her hand (okay, I admit, that's from the 2017 series, but hey, as much as I hate that version, I'll admit it had it's bright spots)
-Fallon vs Alexis in the pool (again, from 2017; I thought the shot of Fallon screaming underwater while Alexis dunked her head was hilarious )
-Fallon slaps Sammy Jo when the latter calls her a bastard (I don't care, I always wanted that to happen in that scene! Plus, I'd also pay tribute to the behind-the-scenes blooper of PSM accidentally knocking Heather Locklear to the floor by having Fallon slap SJ so hard that she really does fall over)
-Krystle vs Alexis in the studio
-Krystle vs Claudia as they fight over the gun when the latter wants to kill Cecil Colby

Season 2
-Fallon slaps Sammy Jo (I'd have this be an annual thing ;) )
-Fallon slaps Kirby when the latter declares that, once "Geoff" (I'm taking Snarky's idea here ;) ) divorces Fallon and marries Kirby, the two of them will take L.B. with them
-Krystle vs Alexis in the lily pond

Season 3
-Kirby tries to strangle Alexis
-Claudia vs Sammy Jo during their slapfest
-Krystle slaps Sammy Jo when the latter declares she wants custody of Danny and insults Steven
-Fallon slaps Sammy Jo
-Claudia slaps "Mother Blaisdel" when the former discovers that the latter has been one of the people behind the whole "Lancelot" plot; Mrs. Blaisdel tries to slap Claudia back, but Krystle catches her arm and tells her, "Try taking both of us." Mrs. Blaisdel backs off and admits defeat
-Krystle slaps Tracy
-Claudia vs Tracy? This one I'm not sure about, but I would definitely have it so that it was Tracy who was the true mastermind behind "Lancelot." In this version, Tracy is back to being Walter Lankersham's granddaughter, and she wants revenge for her grandfather's downfall and death (oh yeah, I would have had it so that it was Walter who was behind L.B.'s kidnapping)
-Krystle vs Alexis in the spa, where the former slaps mud into the latter's face

Season 4
-Alexis slaps Amanda
-Kirby vs Sammy Jo in the solarium
-Krystle slaps Lady Ashley
-Dominique vs Alexis in the latter's office (it happens during the scene where Alexis breaks her TV as Dominique walks in, only with the added detail that Alexis also throws a still lit cigarette into the trash can, which goes up in flames while the two women start catfighting; Alexis' secretary came in at the beginning but then ran out to get help; Steven comes in, notices the fire, so he steps back to grab a fire extinguisher and puts it out, causing Alexis and Dominique to cease fighting - although Alexis does grab the extinguisher from Steven to blast Dominique, who manages to wrestle it away and get Alexis back before it runs out; Dominique then laughs, "An excuse to go shopping!" before sashaying out, cackling, while Alexis glares daggers)
-Amanda slaps Duchess Elena when the latter claims that she's been sleeping with Prince Michael

Season 5
-Fallon, slowly recovering her memory, slaps Sammy Jo, and comments, "This feels familiar!" ;)
-Claudia slaps Sammy Jo
-Krystle vs Rita in the attic
-Krystle vs Alexis during the mudslide incident (this time around I'd combine it with the scene where Alexis quips that Blake couldn't have told the difference between the fake Krystle and the real one because of how "boring" the sex is, so that Krystle immediately punches Alexis, causing them both to tumble down the hill, where at the bottom, Krystle continues pummeling Alexis until their respective bodyguards come sliding down the hill after and separate them)
-Caress vs Alexis in the former's new apartment, where Alexis smugly announces she bought the publishing company that has Caress' book; Caress flies into a rage and attacks her sister; the fight ends on a draw
-Fallon vs Amanda at the masquerade ball; just as Steven and Adam are throwing hands, the two Carrington sisters have their very first catfight - and both are wearing flapper outfits, too! Also, their fight would start off in the breakfast nook, before they end up falling through the door where all the guests can see them - meaning that everyone has a view of both fights: the brothers fighting on the balcony overlooking the sisters; both Blake and Krystle run in, with Blake separating Steven and Adam while Krystle separates Fallon and Amanda
-Dominique slaps Alexis
-Amanda vs Sammy Jo in the pool, Part 1

Season 6
-Amanda vs Sammy Jo in the pool, Part 2 (we get to actually see how this fight ends)
-Alexis tries to slap Sammy Jo, but the latter catches her hand
-Sammy Jo tries to slap Alexis, but the latter catches her hand
-Caress vs Alexis on the mansion stairs (last season, Alexis had only given her sister's tell-all book a brief glance before deciding it should never see the light of day... but then someone, maybe Ben, suggests to her that she give it a more thorough read... and Alexis discovers that it was Caress who informed Blake of when and where he could find Alexis with Roger Grimes; Alexis flies into such a rage that she practically foams at the mouth, and she attacks Caress; the two sisters have Round 2 of their catfight, with Caress wearing only a long silk bathrobe; at some point, she loses her footing and goes tumbling down the stairs, losing her robe in the process, landing at the base wearing only her underwear)
-Dominique vs Alexis in the latter's triplex apartment
[I think I'd like to have a couple other catfights happen this season, but I'm not sure which ones yet]

Season 7
-Fallon vs Sammy Jo (after several seasons of having to suffer Fallon's slaps, SJ gets her revenge by full on punching Fallon - right into a water trough, followed by a mud-hole; the ranch-hands all stand by and watch )
-Krystle threatens Alexis (okay, not really a catfight, but I still like to count it because it was technically a physical confrontation)
-Dana vs Kirby (I'd have Dana first appear in Season 5, but she and Adam would start off as friends before things turn romantic in Season 6, with them getting married in the finale; for this season, Adam and Dana's first scene would be them returning from their honeymoon - only to discover Kirby waiting for them in the mansion... with her and Adam's secret son... leading to a year's worth of tension building between Dana and Kirby until things finally explode)
-Sable vs Alexis in the Carlton lobby
-Amanda vs Monica also in the Carlton lobby (not 100% decided on this one, but we'll see)

the behind-the-scenes blooper of PSM accidentally knocking Heather Locklear to the floor
O? I don't think I've seen that?
Krystle slaps Tracy
Mrs. Carrington slapping one of her husband's employees after she had stolen Tracy's career courtesy of Blake's nepotism? That's not going to look very good :D
If they had worked together while Tracy was seething with hatred (while Krystle believes they make an "excellent team!") and her anger would explode out of the blue in a somewhat random scene, well I think that could have been a nice shocker.
Blake fires Tracy on the spot but of course Krystle defends her. Blake tells Krystle that he has no choice because it would give the other employees the impression that they could slap and rape each other without any consequences. This causes Krystle to flashback to the rape of season 1 (just to highlight the hypocrisy of Blake's comment).
But Tracy screams, in a very cliché fashion "You can't fire me, I QUIT!" and then she stampedes out of Krystle's office right into Alexis' office and sells her Krystle's PR slogan and speech which will be promptly leaked to Gordon Wales.
Caress wearing only a long silk bathrobe; at some point, she loses her footing and goes tumbling down the stairs, losing her robe in the process, landing at the base wearing only her underwear
What an unnecessary kinky detail. Should we be worried, Ked? (incidentally, I think Kate O'Mara would have done it).

O? I don't think I've seen that?

I haven't seen it either, although on another thread around here (forgot which) somebody said they saw it somewhere. Apparently, PSM herself even talked about the incident, although she got confused when recalling it and thought that she *slapped* Heather Locklear instead of just accidentally knocking her off her feet when she whirled her around.

Few things:

-Krystle already slapped Tracy in the original show, so what's the big deal?

-Krystle slapping Tracy is already going to play a part later on: I decided to steal Snarky's idea about both Krystle and Alexis each being on trial for murder (Krystle for murdering Tracy, and Alexis for murdering Neil McBane - because in this remake/reboot, Mark Jennings dies in the cabin fire)

-Also in this remake/reboot, Blake never rapes Krystle. Same goes for AdamxKirby and MilesxFallon.

What an unnecessary kinky detail. Should we be worried, Ked? (incidentally, I think Kate O'Mara would have done it).

This was inspired by an episode of "Hot in Cleveland," where Wendie Malick's character was going to guest star on "All My Children," and was going to be discovered at the base of a staircase wearing only her underwear. Only the scene in question was never filmed, as Susan Lucci (playing herself on the show) was sabotaging the script and whatnot. I thought it was such a waste for a scene like that to never actually appear, and from that point, I randomly wondered how such a scene like that would play out on "Dynasty," and almost immediately Caress seemed like the perfect candidate.

So far?! Now I'm not complaining, but some of your leading ladies will end up with Tennis Elbow by season's end.

You might want to put the stand-ins on contract to save money.

Good suggestion. ;)

It is a big deal. Obviously, the writers didn't understand Krystle anymore.

Meh. I think Dynasty needed less sanitisation, not more.
Besides, the rapes are metaphorical for the Carringtons vs. Nobodies class system.

Fair point. Will think about that.

Doesn't really feel like that to me? Blake raped Krystle when she was his wife, she wasn't a "nobody." Granted, she was "new" and such, but she wasn't a nobody. And interestingly, one could argue in Adam and Kirby's case, she wasn't a nobody either: having grown up amongst the Carrington children, Kirby was more apart of the family than Adam was. If anything, compared to Kirby, *he* was the nobody. Plus, would you call Fallon Carrington a nobody for being raped by Miles?

I'm really more thinking about *why* Krystle and Kirby would *ever* want to maintain romantic relationships with their respective men. I suppose you could say that the show was made during a different time, but these days? No, I say let's not. I suppose I could be talked into keeping Miles raping Fallon since those two don't end up together.

They didn’t have the catfight from the T-shirt: Krystle strangling Alexis with a telephone wire. It could have happened in the season 8 scene instead of a clichéd slap.IMG_8144.jpeg
