With Lindsey Graham brown bread, Mitch McConnell hospitalised for an indefinite period and Bill Cassidy and John Cornyn more willing to oppose Trump now that they have lost their primaries, that Republican majority in the Senate is looking precarious.

Say what you will about Hunter Biden (whom I find incredibly quick witted and great at trolling right now) but I think his statement is the best I've read:

'When I heard about Senator Graham’s death last night, the first thing I thought about was not all the things he said and did in service of Donald Trump. I thought of the time before Donald Trump when he was a brother to Senator John McCain. A time when senators from different parties could fight about politics and still be friends. A time when a conservative Republican from South Carolina could say of my father: “If you can’t admire Joe Biden as a person, you’ve got a problem. He’s the nicest person I’ve ever met in politics. As good a man as God ever created.” That is the Senator Graham I will remember today. Not because I have forgotten what came after. Because in that memory there is hope. Hope for a country where brothers can fight like hell over policy and still share a meal, and a laugh, and the loss of the people they love. I will choose to remember the time before Trump. Because I believe in an America after Trump.'

Even if the Republican majority in the Senate looks precarious right now, does it even matter? The establishment Dems will ensure a new crop of Zionists take their place. Anybody who opposes Israel will likely have sexual assault allegations made against them by someone who has the messages to prove it, yet "conveniently" never shows them.

And then he probably went back to doing blow and filming home made porno films.

Of course, I always feel warm and fuzzy when the people who carve this country up amongst themselves and do Israel's bidding speak so highly of each other.

America before and after Trump is just another way of saying kinder, gentler war mongers and corporatists.

At least it was a time when there was a President you wouldn't entirely hate having kids look up to as a role model.

@Frank Underwood why don't you throw your hat in the ring instead of simply being a defeatist?

There once was a time when people of moral conscience were willing to put their lives at risk for a greater good and couldn't be bought and paid for. It could be that way again.

Frank, why is almost every reply of yours, to any post, always a variation of the "Democrats are just as bad, if not worse"? I'm not saying I disagree with you , just sometimes it would be interesting to stay on the topic being discussed.

Post: Keir Starmer resigned as UK Prime minster:
Reply: More UK Prime Ministers resigned when Biden was President.

Post: We are currently having record-breakingly hot weather in Europe at the moment
Reply: The hottest ever UK temperature was in 2022 when Biden was President.

Post: The USA got knocked out of the 2026 FIFA World Cup at the Round of 16 stage
Reply: They did just as badly the last time the USA hosted the tournament and Bill Clinton was the President.

Post: The final season of The Bear was really good,
Reply: The previous season was one of the weakest and Joe Biden was President at the time.

Post: Trumps grip on the Senate looks a lot weaker now.
Reply: Makes no difference because the Democrats are just as bad.

Post: Hunter Biden made some unifying comments in paying respects to Lindsey Graham
Reply: The Democrats are as bad as the Republicans.

Obviously, only the last 2 are true replies but it illustrates your modus operandi .

Good Lord, that idiot Kash Patel said the FBI was assisting local authorities in the investigation of Graham's death. Like, why? Way to make sure we all know there's a reason for conspiracy theories about this.

Laura Loomer posted today on TwitterX that Russia probably assassinated Lindsey Graham.

So I guess that means Russia did not assassinate Lindsey Graham.

Because it's completely true. And that's said by two Democrats.

I certainly would never try to speak for @Frank Underwood but I can say this....

As a liberal...

Donald Trump is an abomination. He is the worst case scenario. He is a corrupt horror with complete power.

But his presidency was enabled by DECADES of war mongering millionaires.

Should be do all we can to end Trump's constant assault on the Constitution, the office of the President, and our country?

YES!

But even I can reluctantly admit that, although he is the worst, the Democrats made it all possible and CONTINUE to enable him. They do it for Israel and for money.

We can't keep calling out Trump while excusing Democrats that were more similar than it's comfortable to admit.

And we DO need to acknowledge and talk about that.

I'm not saying I disagree with Frank's comments or that the Democrats shouldn't be criticised or discussed, I was just pointing out that no matter what the subject, he always tries to pivot it to criticism of the Democrats.
The funny thing is I haven't mentioned Democrats much recently. I've mostly been discussing Trump's role in Iran, which is our latest disastrous and unnecessary war.

You mentioned Graham's death, McConnell's hospitalization, and two other Republicans losing their primaries as possible reasons the Republicans might lose the Senate. You talk about "staying on the topic discussed," yet your comment wasn't limited to discussing Graham's death. Instead, you discussed the possible political ramifications of it. As such, I found it relevant to point out that even if the Republicans lose the Senate, they'll likely be replaced with Zionist Dems. IMO, this would nullify the change. You make it sound like I invoked them during some random conversation, which is completely disingenuous. My posts obviously reflect my point of view. If someone defends the Dems, undermines the harm they cause, or mentions their potential to possibly take over a branch of government, I'm obviously going to give my two cents just like everybody else.

As for @Laurie! 's post about Hunter Biden, I believe my response was also relevant. I don't have to respect "unifying comments" in honor of war mongers and oligarchs.

At least it was a time when there was a President you wouldn't entirely hate having kids look up to as a role model.
It was always superficial, though. The image they projected on the outside rarely aligned with their actions in office.

Sometimes, they were even monsters in their personal lives behind the scenes.

@Frank Underwood why don't you throw your hat in the ring instead of simply being a defeatist?
If it weren't for crippling social anxiety, I might have considered it.

Of course, I wouldn't have wanted to deal with the sort of manufactured scandals that come with opposing the establishment of either party.

There once was a time when people of moral conscience were willing to put their lives at risk for a greater good and couldn't be bought and paid for. It could be that way again.
I do appreciate your optimism, but the sad reality is that the establishment has the weight of the oligarchs behind them to crush people like that.

Laura Loomer posted today on TwitterX that Russia probably assassinated Lindsey Graham.

So I guess that means Russia did not assassinate Lindsey Graham.

The story buzzing around this morning -- that we won't hear in the mainstream media -- is that Lindsay may have been knocked off for the same reason Charlie Kirk was 10 months ago. Recently, Graham (who is admittedly reprehensible) went on cable news and said, perhaps in anticipation of the midterms, that America should negotiate with Iran and give them $300 billion dollars -- incurring the wrath of some of the Republicans in Washington.

Kirk also shifted his tune last year and came out against the aggression against Iran and our limitless support for one particular middle eastern country you musn't name lest you reveal yourself to be a racist, thus incurring the wrath of his donors (with whom he was cutting ties)... The difference being that Kirk's evolution on those topics in 2025 preceding his assassination (which no one is talking about, because no one wants you to know it happened) was real. While Graham's offering of an olive branch to Iran was a cynical political move and can't be trusted.

Given Graham's particular position on the topic, his close dealings with that middle eastern country we musn't name, I kind of wondered if perhaps he'd been knocked off. But you never know about these things. But given Laura Loomer's immediate public assertion that Graham had indeed been murdered -- and that Russia (just as we're revving up our proxy war in Ukraine) had supposedly killed Graham -- it kind of makes you consider theire may be something to the most recent theory.

We're in WW3 already. So collect your beans and head to the basement.

Yes, it certainly makes you stop and think.

I've often wondered why nothing's happened to Jimmy Dore, Tucker Carlson, and Candace Owens, as they're among the biggest critics of the Iran War and Israel today. But then I realized that, unlike Graham and Kirk, they're not in President Trump's ear. Dore, Carlson, and Owens probably don't have the same donors as Kirk either. Of course, I'd still be concerned if I was them. Israel doesn't like it when people with a large following expose their nefarious activities to the public, as it has led to resentment against them.

Well, it's certainly been suggested that Tucker is in danger. As well as Candice -- although my guess is that Mister & Mister Macron will take her out. To a nice French dinner.

I get why there are so many conspiracy theories about Graham's death, but a reasonable adults we should also consider the possibility that a 71 year old man simply had a heart attack.
