Here's a random question for the day. Should there have been some thrill-seeking bed-hopper who made a play for all four of the grown-up Carrington children? And if so, who should it have been? A new character? Or a previously established character?
A few years ago, an idea for a "Dynasty" sequel fanfic came to my mind, and I sort of developed the Pilot for it. I took the concept of the 1963 movie "The Servant" about an aristocratic man whose life goes upside down when the servant he hires seems to have his own agenda to ruin all of them.
In my story, the Carringtons are disbanded and the mansion is partly locked up and abandoned. Once the main storyline wraps up, they plan to move back there and Steven decides to hire a new major domo. He interviews a bearded guy in his 50s whose eyes are familiar to him, and eventually hires him. Afterwards, the latter takes care of the manor and gives it back its own splendor, and he begins to manipulate every member of the family to cause havoc, including sleeping with him or her if it is the case. I didn´t go any further because I thought that there were many better "Dynasty" fanfics out there and nobody would be interested to read them. The events of the Miniseries would be canon but not relevant for anyone to follow the plot. Do you know what the major domo looked like?

Isn’t this a bit X-rated? I love it.The only person I can picture doing this is Michael Culhane. It’s possible that, back before the series began, he enjoyed being spoiled by Steven while chauffeuring him around. As for Adam, I could imagine that—after his fling with Amanda in season 7 had ended—Michael simply wanted to go the whole way and have the last remaining Carrington child, too; so, one evening at the Carlton Hotel, he slipped a sedative into Adam’s drink, took him up to his room, and sexually assaulted him, even though he wasn't actually into it.
That actually *would* be a fitting bit of kharmic justice! The only person I can picture doing this is Michael Culhane. One could therefore view it as a kind of cosmic, poetic soap justice, considering that Adam raped Kirby.
That actually sounds like a lot of morbid fun!Isn’t this a bit X-rated? I love it.
Now that I think about it, I remember to have made up once a storyline for a "Dynasty" sequel (in the 2000s) with Luke Fuller´s twin brother, now with a beard, taking over the major domo job, intent on doing that: destroying the family from the inside, à la Pasolini´s "Theorem", but with more glamour. The Pilot would end with Luke´s brother looking at the mirror, and taking a pic of his late brother out of his pocket. The following "limited series" would tell the story of the Carringtons after Blake´s death, and how Luke II would get into each and every Carrington´s pants to take them everything from them. It would be a Sean Rowan ripoff but with more mystery and morbid sense of humor.
