Or the fact that we never got to know what Blake did women-wise between Alexis and Krystle. That was very odd.

When rewatching, I'm always bothered by Steven and Claudia, and how easily they gave up on eachother (they had chemistry and a solid history). Not to mention Adam and Claudia, just awful together. Adam pushed Claudia over the edge again.

The first time or the last time, for Steven and Claudia? Sodomy got in the way. And they married, ostensibly, to keep Blake and Sammy Jo from taking Little Danny away.

Adam and Claudia were an obvious contrivance as a romance. Everybody thought so at the time. But that was okay so long as Claudia married him for craven reasons: she was now going after the money just like the other Carringtons have always done... But that kind of cynical mercenary strategy wasn't natural to her, and she melted down (okay -- she burned down) as a result.

Adam was no saint, but even he wasn't responsible for all her problems and her final deterioration.
