NO!!!! Although I would have loved if she returned during the last of the of the original, VP was way over the show due to her own business venture and she thought the quality of the show went down and she was right. This got me thinking that if she wouldn't agree to return if or when asked by the original producers why would she return when or if asked by the new TNT Dallas producers.

Based, off of the character Pam. I just think that she was a one trick pony. There was nothing exciting about her. She was always upset about the Ewings. I do understand that she was probably devastated over having not one but two miscarriages. However, she blamed Poor Bobby for everything. She was to involved with Cliffs business. I am a women who stands for what she believes in as well. But you can't fight every battle. Pam wanted to fight and win every War. Bobby was a good man. He did have a temper. But he loved Pam unconditionally. So, I think that Pam ran her course. She wouldn't be able to hold any significance to the rest of the story. :hello:
Well I guess we lost all of those threads where people were debating about it. It's no secret I personally wished she would have returned for the TNT show. But oh well since she didn't there went the last chance of ever seeing that happen!
It's too bad she wasn't a part of JR Returns, I have a feeling that the Julia character was originally written for Pam. If she had been Pam that movie really would have been a perfect reunion end to the show. Also back in 1996 she was still working as an actress so that would have made perfect sense.

A cameo in Conundrum perhaps. She is referenced in one scene, with an excuse for her absence.

I know it would have been a cop out, but, along with Lucy, I would have written it that Pam wasn't born because of JR not being born. They could have said that Rebecca had an affair with Hutch because of Digger's constant obsession with Cliff taking on JR in the future RE: Ewing Oil. With no JR, the obsession never happened and Rebecca never became pregnant with Pam.
BTW, folks, I was being 100 percent facetious with this thread. There should ALWAYS be a "Will VP ever return as Pam?" on every Dallas site, even a 100 years in the future, which would only make VP about 25 then.
No Dallas thread can be without it.
