People once criticised The Bill and Where The Heart Is for becoming dumping grounds for ex-soap actors/actresses desperate for acting work, however I have researched the cast lists for when The Bill in its 1980s and 1990s heyday, and Where The Heart Is BEFORE it became a dumping ground ex-soap actors/actresses i.e. Philip Middlemiss, Brian Capron and Samantha Giles to name some examples.

Otherwise, the following actors/actresses could get acting work in the soaps also, quite the reverse trend in fact, so without further ado, actors and actresses we'd love to see on TV again:-
Gail Abbott,
Nicola Alexis,
Arin Alldridge,
Leslie Ash,
Ray Ashcroft,
Jessica Baglow,
Colin Blumenau,
Russell Boulter,
Carl Brincat,
Joy Brook,
Tom Butcher,
Tom Chadbon,
Lolita Chakrabarti,
Graham Cole,
Nula Conwell,
Christian Cooke,
Tom Cotcher,
Susan Curnow,

I looked over your list twice, and I don't recognize a single name.

I've heard of Pam Ferris (Nesta in Connie), Eamonn Walker (Said in Oz), Leslie Ash (Leslie Ash on The Tube), Georgia Tennant (Doctor Who's Daughter in Doctor Who) and Joanna Riding (but I'm not quite sure who she is).

Olivia Colman

j.k.

No, I'd love to re-see Cherie Lunghi in a new British drama (not the soaps because I can't watch them)
Preferably a Doctor Foster type of drama, if we're doing requests.

Edit: and also Susan "Howards' Way" Gilmore

They're both the Jane Seymour type of actress and I like that.
