Arsene Wenger 20 Years As Arsenal Manager

[Angela Chilling]

In an Arsenal career that is full of achievement, Mr Wenger racks up another one: 20 years as the Arsenal Manager. During that period, only big spending Chelsea and Man Utd have won more major trophies. He has seen 17 Chelsea managers and 5 at United and qualified for the Champions' League every season. He is one of the greatest managers not only of Arsenal but of any UK football team.

I was at Highbury Stadium to watch his first match in charge at Arsenal and I never could have imagined that 20 years later I would still be watching him managing the club. I have now developed such an affection and respect for him that it transcends Arsenal and I love him as much as I love the club. I hope he signs another Arsenal contract at the end of the season.

I love English football (much more than Scottish!!!) and there are 2 teams i follow
I like both Chelsea (i know that will be a bad word to you @angela channing ) and Arsenal

My Dad has been an Arsenal supported since he was a wee boy in the 1930s and i guess that rubbed off on me too so i have always been a fan. He has been a great manager and had some great players, its hard to think of Arsenal without Arsene Wenger and i hope he continues for a long time to come.
