1. American Horror Story
In my opinion, it's the best TV Land has to offer these days. It's AbFab meets Quentin Tarantino, and it just gets better and better.
The story usually moves beyond its momentum, especially the "Hotel" series, it's almost as if the writers are addicted to their own show - and that's something I can't dislike.

2. The Americans
Very difficult to describe this series, it only makes sense if you watch it. I've never seen anything like this before, at least not as a tv series.
3. Klem (translation: Cornered) - Season 2 in production
I can't even remember the last time I've watched a Dutch tv series, I usually find Dutch drama too pretentious, too fake and too annoying.
So this was a very nice surprise.
A taxman gets involved with a criminal, just released from prison. It's not really about the crime or supsense, it's more about the impossible situation, hence the title.
4. Versailles
It's what I thought it would be (Disney For Adults) and I like it very much.
5. Dynasty
Not this one....
I mean this one....
It's a facinating concept, and they have a lot to play with.
I think it's still finding its groove, they haven't
"nailed it!" yet. But those 40 minutes seem like only 5 minutes, and that's always a good sign.
The Deuce should be in this top 5, but I haven't watched any episodes yet and since I don't subscribe to HBO I think it's going to be a DVD watch.
