There is writer's "trick" to imagine certain things about your characters, even if they don't show up in any actual story. One of them is to ask what your character has for breakfast. So take a character from one of the big four and imagine what they have for breakfast on a regular basis.
For example, I think Jock(Dallas) has bacon and eggs with coffee every morning. Every time Miss Ellie raises the issue of cholesterol he completely dismisses the issue(he reminds me of my grandfather).
What do you think your favorite character had for breakfast? Don't say Sue Ellen would say, "Just coffee." That's the secret of how she always looks so good, even in her 70s: Teresa's coffee.

Sue Ellen was only in her sixties last time she was on screen though. Given the onscreen referral to her age. And when did Miss Ellie refer to cholesterol?

She didn't The point of this writer's trick is to fill in things that don't make it on to the page or screen. We infer what they'd do and how they would react based on what we know about their characterization.

I see Karen MacKenzie making this big spread of all the staple items (bacon, eggs, toast, etc.) for the family....only to have everyone hurriedly run through the kitchen making excuses about needing to get to work/school/court/whatever, leaving a bunch of uneaten food. Mack would snatch up a piece of toast on the way out. Eric and Michael would shove a few pieces of bacon in their mouths as they departed. If Paige was there, she might take a glass of orange juice, saying something about her diet.
Karen would be left all alone with all that food...and tuck in. No sense letting it go to waste when it can go to...waist.

I think Angela Channing has a very small breakfast with some coffee and porridge only. No need for luxury. She is hard towards others and she is hard on herself. I think woman of her generation with the hardships during growing-up and the beauty ideal of that time make it seem likely that she tried her best not to gain any (superfluous? ) weight.

I somehow think Emma and Julia didn't get any more for breakfast than porridge either as they should be married to "right" men. By the way Douglas never joined them for breakfast as he was running a newspaper at that time.

Fun task, very creative, Jimmy.
