Jemma was constantly flicking her hair when talking to Chad, he is very charming but says all the wrong things

I was actually panicking for Helen, it must be really difficult when you're older and don't feel you are part of the crowd. I really hope she comes out more. It's hard to tell if she is fitting in with them, with so many in there right now.

It might just be first night nerves, but I thought Helen looked very tense. She could do to team up with a HM who might be on her wavelength (if there is such a person in that house) and I'm glad for her that she got her own bed.

This might sound odd, but I'm ready for a house with fewer housemates. There seems to be so much going on with a packed house that I'm struggling to remember everyone.

I understand what you mean. These 'celebrities' are not instantly recognisable and when they're on screen it takes me a few seconds to work out who they are which is distracting. Its a house full of stranger's again and lots of them are loud. I want to fast forward a couple of weeks to the time when I've sussed who is who.

I used to love the talent shows on BB, but more and more I'm finding I cringe with them.

Amelia has a great voice and I thought their duet was the best performance. Derek's really made me cringe, the Brandi & (?) performance was just awful and embarrassing. Shawn & Paul's was pretty good and Jordan/Sam was simply boring. We've seen that act so many times that it's not just unoriginal, it's dull.

Chad is starting to grate on me. He's somewhat like Lotan in that he shows very little respect towards women. This attitude that he can have any woman is a true reflection on him as a man.

I have no idea what Shawn was trying to do in the diary room, but what did cross my mind is the question - Do they have pen and paper in there?


I didn't care for the game the housemates created to find out more about each other.

How many times do Jordan & Sam have to explain they new nickname JAM ? They come across desperate.

Bit of a negative post, but I'm still enjoying it and feeling optimistic that it will turn into a cracker at some point.

Even some of these celebrities talk endlessly about sex, I’m beginning to think that all HM’s have it written in their contracts that they must talk about sex all day, every day.

Chad had taken off his shirt to talk to BB in the DR and he continues to have one topic of conversation.

Trisha’s talent was very, very bizarre, maybe this is what she does on youtube? I’ve purposely not checked out her youtube stuff as I want to judge her for who she is in the house and so far I'm completely baffled

When Sarah was in the DR talking to BB she said that she is judged on her past, I have no idea what she was talking about. She appears to under the impression that most people know about her life or have an opinion about her when they probably don’t. She seems very fragile.

The end of the show was odd too. I thought Paul wanted to go to bed and was complaining to the HM;s outside for keeping him up and then next he was seen sat outside himself looking spaced out and rambling.

Amelia and Sarah where the highlight for me. I thought there performance was fab considering it was an impromptu duet and they had little time to rehearse.

Derek's really made me cringe,

He wasn't very convincing.

Derek has previously said that he couldn't summon up the spirits at will and yet he managed right on cue to introduce us to Joseph I didn’t believe a word he said and he must have pushed the coin with his clipboard.

I didn’t know if to laugh or be embarrassed for him, he was out of his depth.
He kept saying something like .. 'you can use this if you want'..to BB. I'm completely lost with Shaun and all I could think of was David Brent.

Shaun was very open about using pen and paper as if it was a normal thing to do in BB, it both shocked and annoyed me that it was acceptable.

Jordan and Sam don't seem to realise that its the BB viewers who create the nick names and its not for the HM's to force one upon us. They've also instantly created a bromance without even getting to know each other first (unless they knew each other before entering the house?).

A Bromance and a nick-name within 2 days??? its as though they're doing BB by numbers or are following a 'Guide book' for BB contestants.

So true and after we spoke about how we thought the celebs would be different.

Now then, this has me thinking. Is it the reality stars that talk about sex the most. I will have to try and keep my eye on this, to see whether it's genuine celebrities or those who just come from reality TV.

Nope, I have no idea what Sarah was referring to and I asked Teen Ome if she knew. No was her response and she is usually on top of social media sites. Sometimes I think these people are simply deluded.


All I know of Sarah is that she was part of Girls Aloud and she had a small role in Corrie last last year.

Yes that's it The White Room task. Gosh I hated that he won, but do remember feeling happy that he had to leave immediately and also how much it upset Luke S.

Celebrity Big Brother has only been on TV for a few days, but people are already losing interest. The show has recorded the lowest viewing figures in its history, with less than two million people tuning in for the first show of the series on Tuesday night.

According to Overnight TV, a company which analyses UK television ratings, Celebrity Big Brother attracted just 1.8 million for the launch show. Just to put it into context, last year's summer show pulled in 2.36 million.

It may not seem like a huge drop, but in TV land it is. It's reportedly the first time the show has dropped below the two million mark.

The reason for the decline in viewers was because of two other shows which were broadcast at the same time, Old People's Home for 4-Year-Olds on Channel 4 and In The Dark on BBC One.

They had 2.1 million and 3.9 million viewers respectively on Tuesday night





It doesn't help with so many reality stars in there this time. I'm not worried though, I think it needs a good week to really get going.

Good thinking I hadn't thought of this. I think Jordan or was it Sam who was in 'Ibiza Weekender' which was the same show which Ellie was in and from what I gather is based on drinking and er....short term relationships. No, I've never watched it

Sarah would be better keeping quiet as BB is not the ideal place for therapy, although to be fair she might not intend to discuss it further so we'll see.

Perhaps it's not been helped by following on from a less successful civilian BB.

That's true, casual viewers are less likely to tune in to watch reality stars instead of real celebrities who they might be interested in seeing.

Brandi didn't hold back with her description of Chad in the DR …”offensive”, “male chauvinist pig”, “a tool”, “checking himself in mirror”… have I missed anything?
Chad then made the big mistake of asking Brandi what she’d said and she didn’t mince her words. Brandi might have done Chad a favour as he now knows how he’s coming across and I must admit he took all these insults well.
Chad wasn’t having a good day because Amelia also told him how she thinks her mum might fancy him which must have made him feel old.

Trisha was paid 70000 dollars to sleep with someone and she cleverly managed to spin her reason for doing so…"Yes I had sex with the guy I wanted to and he was good and then he gave me money” ..Lol!

Jordan looked proud of himself for claiming to sleep with 1500 women and it was satisfying to see that the other HM’s didn’t believe him either.

Sam was in the DR talking about how he finds Brandi hot. First the bromance, then the nick-name and next the showmance.

When Derek was talking about his experience with OJ Simpson Shaun looked as though he was stifling a laugh

Paul Danan is an odd character who was sacked from panto for swearing at the audience when switching on the Christmas lights He must have changed his outfit six times during last night’s HL’s and his mediation skills during an argument are hilarious; he means well, but just makes everything much worse.

Trisha is probably the least celebrity in there and acts like the biggest diva. I can understand her having a meltdown over Jordan and Sam as they’re both immature, irritating fools, however she did make the most of it. She mentioned leaving the house and wanted to know if she’d still get paid, I thought they were all doing this for charity.

In the bedroom at the end of the HL’s my cringe level shot through the roof when I heard …."You've been jammed" these two (I refuse to call them Jam) are not as funny as they think they are, in fact they’re not funny at all.

I've not seen last night's show yet, so I'm not looking up above, I'm going to watch two back to back which I'm really looking forward to doing.

On launch night I thought these two had the potential to be quite entertaining, based on how eager and excited they were to be in the house, but now I feel like they are trying to write their own story and that doesn't work in BB, well not for me anyway.

I'm loving Brandi right now, her no nonsense talk with Chad was just the tonic I needed. He seemed to try and take it on the chin, but I think deep down he was offended, I hope he never wins her round.

The gunk task really felt like BB were targeting only a few housemates. Chad & Sam walked free from their round and how daft do they think we are? They asked who had two time Harry Enfield when the only UK woman in the options was Helen. Plus in that round, the questions were 'She' did this or that. In the other round they never really gave the sex.

I am really struggling with Trisha and how fast she talks and it really is no help with BB putting subtitles up because they go as fast as she speaks. I literally had to pause all of her conversation with Karthick. I also got the impression that Sam was trying to make amends with her, but not Jordan, he appeared to really be pissed off with her.

I can't work Paul out, he constantly appears drunk or high all the time.

Chad wasn’t having a good day because Amelia also told him how she thinks her mum might fancy him which must have made him feel old.

Ha ha! I got the impression that Amelia doesn't like him that way and she was trying to be gentle with him, but it came across so bloody funny. Telling a guy that you think your mum might fancy him is hilarious.

When Trisha was in the DR with her hair up and the sunglasses on I thought she looked like Dolly Parton. She appears to be using the DR as an extension to her youtube channel.

Trisha saying to Jordan … “I don't think we have anything in common except probably STDs"…is a sentence I never thought I'd hear she was enjoying playing the victim and so delayed making up with Sam and Jordan, good for her. It annoys me when fooling around gets called ‘banter’ by the perpetrators especially when it goes too far.

Unsurprisingly Chad measure’s his arm muscles daily and his main topic of conversation in the DR is still about the female HM’s. I don’t believe he’s really interested in Amelia, she’s just an easy target compared to the others and she often flatters his ego.

Paul seems to turn into a show off when he's had a drink and he was going a step too far by keep getting Karthik's name wrong, it’s different when it’s with a friend you know, but these two barely know each other. I did cringe when Karthik said the word ‘racist’ I believed he was joking when he said it, but because Karthik is not at all funny it’s difficult to tell and goodness knows where the camera was because I couldn't see Karthik's facial expressions.
Maybe Paul was concerned about Karthik using the word 'racist' in case he gets labelled which can easily happen in BB. I think the whole argument was a misunderstanding on both sides resulting in an unnecessary tantrum from Paul.



Even though I’ve prattled on above ^ I did think last night’s HL’s were dull. All of this ‘who wants a relationship with who’ is tedious and I find the false flirty talk boring. I’d like to hear some celeb gossip about their lives outside, there must be other conversation going on.

Watching two shows back to back is great, however the problem comes when writing about them because they merge into one episodes.



I think Tricia has broken a BB record for how many times she appears in the diary room. Honestly, it's like she is in there every half hour of each show.

Chad continues to annoy me with how he's working on Amelia, but what did surprise me was his reaction to her sitting with |Sam - was he really sulking? I thought he was older and wiser than that. I don't think Amelia is helping her situation, it's hard to understand her feelings. She says she doesn't like him in that way, but then she seems to be falling for his charms. Chad assumes her nervousness is down to the fact she fancies him, but I think it could be more about her finding him a little intimidating.

Thankfully BB punished the whole house for nominations rule break, but then I felt it was all heading toward the 'members' and 'riff raff' so they were always planning on taking away the luxury food...

I loved the way they did the nominations this week, though I am eager to find out what they really think of each other in the privacy of the diary room. I also loved that Sandi chose Jordan as part of the 'riff-raff' squad.


Have they cut back on cameras they use? During the 'don't be a racist' debate between Paul & Karthik, I couldn't see Karthik at all.
