I'm wondering if she realises what is happening and moves her hands to protect her face, therefore damaging her hands/arms that can be covered up.

Good thinking @Ome, I hadn’t thought of that.

It would be great with this storyline if the writers could find a way of keeping Daisy on the cobbles :)

Adam was a lad.
Maureen Lipman was excellent last night, she broke my heart, I would expect nothing less from the actress.

Absolutely! I didn’t care for the character to begin with, but over time she won me over and now I find her as one of the greatest characters introduced in the last 10 years. Charlotte Jordon is an asset to the show.

Could not agree more, a delight to watch and very engaging.

I read Peter Ash will be leaving the soap and it wasn't his decision, however, he wasn't sacked as such, it's part of the latest storyline.

He will be diagnosed with MND which will ultimately take his life

I wish it was Billy going instead of Paul

Am I right in thinking that this condition would have developed anyway rather than having been caused by the collision with Carla?

I don’t really know much about this medical condition or what causes it.

Last night’s episode answered this question for me when the doctor at the hospital confirmed that Paul’s ”injuries” were in fact NOT connected to the “accident” and that, as a result, he would not be able to claim any compensation from Carla

Tonight’s horror episode was intense, brilliantly acted and well-executed. A hard watch but so relevant today. The best episode of Corrie since the brutal attack on Seb and Nina.

I agree.

I liked the inventive directing style that director, Michael Lacey used to bring this episode to life.

Although it was well done and well acted, infact brilliantly executed, for me Corrie was more like EastEnders , some Corrie fans won't be happy. It was unpleasant to watch, I suppose that was the point, for me too many effects.

The opening of the episode looked more like a trailer for the show, infact it would have been a brilliant trailer, odd it was not heavily promoted?

They've done well to have both the rape and acid story play along side each other. I wish they would give us a break from Stephen.

So far I think he's been very good.
I agree.

So far so good.

However, this is the first time that I can remember where he is having to play out a proper harrowing storyline on screen.

I’ve previously regarded him as “eye candy” so, it will be interesting to see how he fares. :)

Best part of the episode was the food at Roy's. That Lasagne looked lovely Roy made, or was it Fresco's finest? :D

I read this morning that Faye is leaving the show after 12 years. I don't think I will miss her because I felt the character was ruined when they tied her up with Craig.
