I liked how Afton was always the most perceptive character in the room while everyone else could be totally oblivious. She knew Clayton was in love with Sue Ellen before just about anyone else did and she had Katherine’s desire for Bobby pegged as well. Afton wasn’t perfect, but she was very smart. She understood some of the other characters better than they did themselves sometimes.</p></blockquote><p></p>
