The Ewings losing the company a couple of years earlier could’ve given us some good drama going into that next season. I wonder if that would’ve affected Bobby and Pam’s reunion in any way. Perhaps he stays with Jenna til his “death” instead if the Ewings lose the company to Cliff of all people. What always bothered me about that hearing though is once the boys get the documents from Amanda it’s just a formality. We know they’re winning the case and it kind of kills off the drama. Maybe having the documents show up in court with someone when it seemed all Hope was lost would’ve been a better way to go if the Ewings were going to win.</blockquote>
